Delicious sushi & shrimp tempura udon. The ramen was ok, but overall everything came out well. Ballard has been missing a sushi place that's this quality & affordable. Can't wait to come back!

service is polite, albeit a bit scattered/slow at times. the food is very good, clean & small portioned at very fair prices. the decor and ambiance in the restaurant is very artistic and cool. we were looking for a ramen spot that also serves sushi, so this gem was a standout. give it a try.

Was looking forward to this place after such good reviews but came away disappointed overall. The service forgot our table on three separate occasions: the menu, my beverage, and a side of hot sauce. The Hawaiian roll was weird as it was mounded up the drizzled with straight mayonnaise, the cut on Spider roll was too thin which fell apart when picked up. The miso ramen broth was lacking in flavor. The fried chicken was tasty and plentiful and the prices are good though.

Normally I would gate keep but want this place to thrive so I can keep eating there. I got some sushi which was fresh and rice was tender. Got the Ramen which was flavorful and the noodles were surprisingly good. And the K Chicken, let me tell you holy hell this was good. In fact im still at the table eating it. It was so good I had to write a review. I got the spicy garlic. I didn't know what to expect but man... the prices are all reasonable to. So glad I stumbled in after the gym.

Sushi-licious is soooo good the sushi is beautifully presented and served on a black stone plate, carefully made sushi with amazing freshness, I have tried the salmon seared roll, the dragon roll and the spicy one, they were perfect! Ohh and I loved the friend chicken with the pickled dikon radish, only two blocks away from My home a great place to enjoy on any day. with a gorgeous tree strung with lights and big windows that also open up, thank you again, will be back!!!

I only came here because there is a deep fried Oreo menu item. When they are freshly made and hot, they are delicious. As soon as they cool, it's a lesser experience. We asked our server to bring the dessert items at the end of our meal but they brought them in the middle of our meal. The timing was off. Hot things got cold and cold things melted. It's a newer place so maybe they are working through some things?
As far as the rest of the food, it's a nice selection of soup, sushi, and appetizers. You can order half rolls and small bites, which is actually pretty nice for variety's sake. However, the prices are deceiving. The small portions mean you end up having to order a lot to be satisfied and the bill will be comparable to restaurants with higher quality food, especially sushi. I didn't expect this to essentially be a tapas place.
My biggest issue however, was no staff bussed our tables during the meal at all. Dirty dishes piled up from our group and no matter how nicely we stacked them or placed them near the edge for easy access, staff never took them away. They only clear away dirty dishes at the end of the meal, apparently. And since every item is served on a little, unique shaped plate, they accumulate and become awkward. Even when directly asked, our server ignored our request to take some dirty dishes away. I have never encountered this in a sit down restaurant before.
In the end, this is a casual spot for sampling many dishes. But if you want better sushi, go to Moshi Moshi or Shiku.

Family friendly, nice & clean atmosphere, exceptional service, and good food. We came in with our toddler and our server brought him a snack as we were waiting for our food. The food was fantastic. The ramen was perfect for a cold fall day. And the fried chicken was juicy on the inside, and light and crispy on the outside. Garlic soy, spicy garlic soy, and honey sauces were delicious. We are definitely coming back.

Can’t say enough good things about this place and the people that run it. The sushi is fantastic and the prices are amazing. I don’t eat out much anymore in Seattle due to how expensive things are- especially at mid-range restaurants. I love this place.

Three of us went for a small dinner last week and really liked the space, decor and service. We had red dragon and cherry blossom rolls, and also a salmon skin roll with burdock root which was new for me and enjoyable. The fried banana, mochi ice cream and crab rangoon desserts were all a perfect size and price, and attractively presented - a good treat at the end!
The sushi is fresh, flavorful, and made with real care, and the atmosphere makes it a spot you’ll want to keep coming back to.
