loved the vibe of this cafe, located inside a nursery it gives perfect atmosphere to be surrounded by plants and sipping a coffee. the food was a miss though, got a scramble and a sandwich, for the price point they offered a lot more potatoes than the egg or the sandwich. I was hoping for a more wholesome meal experience I guess.
perfect for sipping coffee and exploring plants.

Just wondering if the cafe menu will expand. It was nice when the cafe had a bigger menu that didn’t include some kind of bean soup everyday. It seems the cafe might be struggling since all the good things on the menu have disappeared and soups are mostly some sort of bean soup. Eggs Benedict and pastramie sandwiches are missed.

While the food is decent, it feels overpriced. I'm already going to buy a plant, so it feels like my latte shouldn't be quite so expensive. $17 for scrambled eggs in this economy? yikes. I appreciate that the staff keeps the area clean and maintained. I wish they had a better way of getting the food order to the customer. When it is busy, it gets loud and I couldn't hear them calling my name. Perhaps they can switch to the buzzers or the numbers that you take to your table?

God bless The natural remedy I got from Dr Okjas harbal home
Great little cafe.
We have been eating at Swanson's Cafe a few times a year but lately we were buying plants for our new gardens so we have had lunch at the Cafe 2-3 times a month. Sad to say the food quality has gone down hill. Soups are ones we have never heard of. We have had some strange ones and today was Toasted Almond chicken. It had dark chicken meat that looked like the bad parts of dark chicken, a small amount of wild rice and way too much celery. Soup was watery. Chicken sandwich was fine but french fries were totally cold. The cafe may be struggling but would probably do better if they served better food. The soups seem like they cutting back on good ingredients to save money but serving bad food is not a way to make a restaurant better.

The breakfast burrito was good, but the fruit side was just unripe melon. Both vanilla lattes were poorly made—one all foam, the other too hot to drink. Spent over $40 for a small burrito and two tiny lattes. Definitely not worth it.

The food at Swanson’s cafe is not worth the price. I had the frittata and it was dry and I did not finish. The price is a bit steep for the quality of the food. The saving grace is the inviting set up of the cafe.

Food is quite subpar and pricey for its quality. Atmosphere is great
Fantastic eggs Benedict, in a lovely lush space
One of service reasons we came, was for the potatoes that everyone raved about. I love potatoes... so I said let's go. My husband loved his meal and potatoes. I had eggs Benedict and they were fabulous... but fir me the potatoes were too heavy with seasoning. Liked the seasoning taste... but just so much.
Beautiful place, tasty food. However, I could not cut my eggs benedict with the plastic knife provided as cutlery and I am a grown man. My eggs ended up a mess on leathery English muffins and I had to put the whole lunch into a takeout box so that I could wrestle with it at home with proper cutlery. If I couldn't cut my food nobody can. The owners please take note and keep trying their own dishes. For $22 a major disappointment.
