Beautiful spot with amazing food and just-right service. Just enough of a touch of irreverence and fun to make it interesting but not forced.

During my recent visit to Seattle, I had the pleasure of dining at Swel, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance set a high standard – elegant yet welcoming, perfectly capturing the essence of fine dining with a personal touch. The highlight of my meal was the filet with peppercorn sauce. Cooked to perfection, it was a flavorful masterpiece that melted in my mouth. Accompanying this was a tequila old-fashioned – a delightful twist on a classic. This drink made me rethink my usual bourbon preference; it was that impressive! But what truly set Swel apart was the owner's involvement. Their passion and dedication were evident in every detail, from the meticulously crafted menu to the attentive service. It was inspiring to see an owner so deeply involved, ensuring each guest's experience was exceptional. In summary, Swel is a must-visit for anyone in Seattle seeking a top-tier dining experience. It's a testament to what happens when exquisite food, innovative drinks, and heartfelt hospitality come together. A true five-star experience! Also, make sure to get the scratch-made bread pudding. You won’t be sorry.

We have eaten multiple meals at SWel and each experience has bene great. The food, staff and atmosphere are all great. I've enjoyed the pork chop and salmon and loved them both. The calamari is particularly special.

Fantastic vibe, with fantastic food. As a Kentuckian, I loved the Black Manhattan cocktail. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection.

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Seattle. They make incredible cocktails and, in my opinion, the best pizza in Seattle. I’ve been actively trying to find a place that makes better pizza but haven’t been able to. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Good food (pizza crust was perfect for me), service, and atmosphere. The only downside was that the music was pretty loud for a Wednesday night, which made conversation a little strained at our 4-top table.

Amazing food, drinks and restaurant. The lighting and feel is pretty special. Will be coming here again.

This is one of the best bars/restaurants in the area. They have a great menu and drink selection, as well as a great ambience.I was immediately greeted by Evan, who took my order. I had the house margarita and the beet salad with salmon. Evan graciously agreed to redo my margarita at no extra cost, when I mentioned it was a bit spicy for me. The salad had an amazing raspberry vinaigrette that went perfectly with the goat cheese, and the salmon was perfectly cooked. The interior is beautifully decorated with ambient lighting and ample seating. It has a rustic yet modern charm to it. It is nice and quiet, and a great place for good conversation with friends.Overall, a great experience. Definitely stop by if you are in the neighborhood!

Excellent for both comfort and refined meals, all in one spot, with good cocktails and wine.

What a gem! I probably shouldn’t review it because it’s already hard enough to get a table. Quirky decor and fantastic people add to excellent food at SWeL. I kinda worried that their flippant name would mean the approach to dining would be flippant, too. Not so. The menu is carefully crafted, as are the cocktails. And yet even my pickiest child found a meal to enjoy. We will certainly return!
