I am a nursing student here for the national convention and decided to stop in at Tacos Del Mar one day for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by the super friendly staff and delicious food. The prices were also extremely reasonable considering the location.

Convention center food offerings expensive & limited
I was happy to go down 4 floors & find Taco Del Mar.
Staff was pleasant. My huge plate of carnitas was delicious & below $20 incl drink

The definition of mid. Double layer your burrito or it’s going to fall apart. Still better than the Gyro Stop across from them. My advice? Take the extra few minutes to go across the street and you’ll pay half the price for better food.

Kid-friendliness: If you’re bring your kids it’s probably for a big con, and if it’s busy, you’re not going to find seating for your whole family unless you get really lucky.
