I eat at the Ballard Taco Time once a week, and it's always perfect. The food is hot and delicious, the restaurant is clean, and the employees are friendly and professional. 5 stars, no notes!

My hubs and I have been ordering takeout through the app about once a week from this Taco Time in Ballard ever since the pandemic hit in 2020. This TT kept us fed and alive throughout the whole COVID tragedy, and after we got out of it, it was a nice treat to get a couple of times a month.
Our favorite dishes are the Taco Salad, Fish Soft Taco (more like a smaller burrito), and the Fiesta Platter. We really appreciate that they use as many local ingredients as possible and that their packaging is compostable.
The staff are always friendly, nice, and efficient. Probably the best Taco Time in the Puget Sound. Thanks to the whole team at the Taco Time Shilshole!

I can’t believe anyone calls this place less than authentic. Taco Time is perhaps the most authentic Pacific Northwexican restaurant in existence. Some would argue they invented Pacific Northwexican.
Come for the “burrito”, stay for the “classic burrito” that’s an actual burrito, stay a little longer for an order of “crustos” (basically tortilla chips with cinnamon and sugar but trust me they’re great). They’ve even begun to sell Caesar salads which are actually authentically Mexican.

This is an excellent spot. We love coming here for a quick bite if we're in the area. The service is always top notch - super friendly staff and the food comes out very quickly. We have been many times and it is consistently solid. We often get the Casita Burrito Platter and the Tostada Salad and it's always fresh and tasty. You really can't beat this place for price, service, and simplicity. We also really appreciate their focus on compostable materials. This is a standout in the fast food space for sure!

Always hot. Always yummy. And healthy, too. The cabbage and white sauce on the pairs perfectly with the fish. Perfect amount of crunch and yum.

Why have I been sleeping on Taco Time? This food is great! I mean, it's not super authentic Mexican food or anything, but it's fresh, it tastes good, and it's easy enough build a decently healthy meal. I had the chicken chop salad and a lite chicken taco. The chicken is nice and juicy and the vegetables have a good crunch. I'd recommend a side of the pico and the hot sauce. The habañero salsa is also tasty if you can stand a bit of heat.
