Their tacos are great, and my faves are the pastor and birria.
Their chips are mediocre at best and taste like the oil is old and burned. This might be forgivable, but they charge extra for the chips!
Also, this place always smells like a dirty mop bucket. Maybe they change the mop bucket water as often as they change the chip oil? If they did both more often, I would rate this place higher.
Despite this, I still come back for the tacos though.

We walked in and were seated promptly. We were given ample time to peruse the menu. The food was just ok. Beans tasted as if they were not seasoned at all. Tacos were, once again, ok. The biggest shock was the total for our meal. The most expensive taco place I have visited in my time living in Seattle. My friend concurred and we're never visiting again.

This place was absolutely wonderful. I found it by accident, and it's now my favorite Mexican place in Seattle. Everything was delicious, plentiful, and quick. I will absolutely be back many times!!

Updating as of end of Dec 2025. I ordered off the happy hour menu which doesn’t say anything about a restaurant fee and was surprised to see a 3% restaurant fee on my charge. Would no long recommend as I try to support businesses that include the total price on their menus.
Also note there are no bike racks even though it’s on a bike route.
Our go-to for tacos in Seattle. We live nearby and order takeout, so I can’t comment on the dining experience, but the tortillas are so fresh and tasty. The salsas are bomb. I’ve even bought their hot sauce in bottles to go! My fav taco is the cochinita pibil. My kiddo likes carne asada. Husband likes all of them. Great prices, fresh, flavorful, and obviously cooked with care.

We love this local taco spot, and come here at least once a week. Great food, friendly service. Only downside is there isn’t a lot of tables. Would love to see them move somewhere (very close!!) with more room for them.

This place is always incredible! The only time I'm disappointed is when I forget that they're closed on Mondays.

T this was one of our favorite places, but on the last few months is hasn't need as good. On this visit the nachos e were not very good. They hardly had any cheese and we ordered them with chicken and had a hard time finishing any. We also got fish tacos that were different than previously, and had sauce so spicy that two out of there is is couldn't eat them. The flavor was good but the spice heat was at *****!
They have also painted and gotten rid for the great tablecloths.

I’ve been searching Ballard and surrounding neighborhoods for a good Mexican food spot and this is it. Big bold flavors on hand pressed tortillas. The service is great. The portions are generous. I love this place.

Restaurantji Recommends
the greatest mexican restaurant in seattle. this is the tex mex style restaurant taken to the max. everything that comes out of the kitchen tastes good, you can’t go wrong.
I placed an online order at 11:59 am and expected to go pick it up in $15 minutes. It was almost $80. When I went to pick the order up, they were closed. I checked to see if the payment had gone through, and it had. They had scheduled me for an order for 11:59 the next morning! I called to rectify the situation because I didn’t want the food in the morning. I got majpr runaround. They sent me to their website pop- something who manage their online orders and they sent me back to the manager. No one I spoke with apologized or offered to resolve the issue in anyway. So essentially I was out $80 and a meal. I basically donated money to this place and have nothing to show for it. No food. No resolution. No offer of any kind. Not even an apology. I will NEVER order food here again. Tacos and Beer customer service SUCKS!
