This place should be called “Booger Tacos” The dirtiest place to get tacos in Seattle Nothing whets the appetite like climbing pee-scented stairs into a building that looks like it hasn’t met a mop since the dawn of time. The food itself was aggressively mid, but the real flavor came from the open-kitchen experience I did not consent to. Watching the cook blow his nose and casually wipe it on his shirt—no mask, no shame—really added a bold, mucus-forward note to the atmosphere. Nothing pairs quite like tacos and the lingering thought of “Should I call my doctor or just pray?” The vibe was less street food and more street immunity challenge. I kept waiting for handwashing to make a cameo, but it never showed up. Seattle has too many amazing taco spots for me to play roulette with my digestive system. If you enjoy your meals served with a side of second-guessing your life choices, this might be your place. I, however, will be taking my business—and my appetite—literally anywhere else. Would not recommend. 🌮😬
I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was wild. The food handling already looked sketchy — no gloves, bare hands on ingredients — but what really topped it off was the cashier situation.
The young boy at the register was shockingly rude. No manners, no customer service skills, just blunt and disrespectful responses. It honestly felt like he didn’t know how to talk to people at all, let alone customers. Simple questions were met with a nasty attitude and zero patience. You could tell he was annoyed just to be there.

Tacos Chukis really needs to hear this — customer service matters. The line was chaos, the staff acted annoyed the entire time, and simple questions were met with an attitude that made it clear they did not want to deal with customers. No greeting, no guidance, no care… just irritation.😳

When an order mistake happened, there was no apology, no urgency, just a rude attitude like I was the problem for asking it to be fixed. It felt unprofessional and frustrating from start to finish.
And the worst part? The food is actually good — which makes the terrible service even more disappointing. The service overshadows everything. Consider this a warning: the tacos might hit, but the customer care absolutely ruins the experience.
If you don’t mind being ignored and disrespected while waiting forever, maybe this place is for you. But for everyone else… there are better taco spots in Seattle that actually value their customers.

Fantastic! We loved the chicken mini burrito, adobada taco and steak quesadilla. We did get quite a few bites of gristle with the steak.

When you go in you can either order from the kiosk or to the front desk. I chose to order from the kiosk because it's my first time there and the kiosk has pictures of the tacos. It was fairly straight forward, click what you want, take a number, enter the number into the system, enter your phone number. Go to your seat and display the number so they know who to serve. The only problem is that it didn't have an option to text or print out a receipt which makes it hard to claim meals.
Tacos had a good portion of filling. The cactus one (nopal) was unique but didn't have much flavor to it. I really liked the ones with the big pineapple slice on it (taco chukis) The chicken (pollo asado) one was ok too. Love the salsa that they put on.
There is free self serve water at the pop machine. And after you're done eating, you have to clean up by yourself - garbage, compost, and plates/cups.
