Bikes and coffee. The rye chocolate croissant is elite! Appreciate the vegetarian protein options.

Pleasant coffee place and bar. Had a decent cold brew and my wife had a great strawberry lemonade. We came here in the evening when there was an event going on outside, and even though it was loud outside there were a couple tables where we could sit and chat. The strawberry lemonade was uniquely good because of how it resembled a slushee. The cold brew was good, not the best in Seattle, but good.

Great cocktails from a cute space! There was live music in the plaza the night we were there and we loved sitting outside at the bistro tables!

Best chai! Such a good peppery burn - it’s one of my favorites in the city :)

Absolutely love Tailwind Café at Good Weather. The space is warm and inviting, with a great mix of indoor and outdoor seating (the fire pit is a nice touch). The menu is fantastic—lots of options for both vegetarians and meat-eaters—and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. Extremely kind and friendly staff. A true neighborhood favorite!

Lovely hidden gem! The barista was very kind and the coffee/food was fantastic. I love the interior of this spot and the outdoor space. It was the perfect place to catch up with a friend (which we did for a bit!).

I’ll definitely be back :)

I was looking for avocado toast after my 8am Saturday morning F45 Vegas workout 😁💪🏽 and found the Tailwind cafe’s comfortable little nook inside ChopHouse alley. Their avocado toast did not disappoint and their silverware was cute too ❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽😋!!!

Really cute cafe. Unfortunately the staff is not very friendly. I work in the area and had been patronizing the cafe consistently throughout the day. I bought coffee, sunscreen, and gummies throughout the day. The girl at the counter in the afternoon snobbishly told me I wasn't allowed to sit in the cafe without buying more food.

One of my favorite spots in Seattle! The staff is lovely, the coffee is amazing, and the food is absolutely delicious. Bonus points for the great ambiance and perfect location.

Not seeing the appeal. The outdoor area is nice, but the menu seems fairly limited. I’d think I’d receive some table service for a nine dollar latte, but maybe I’m expecting too much from cap hill. The neighborhood seems to be more like the establishment each passing hour

Really liked the vibe at Tailwind Caffe - it’s cozy, stylish, and feels like the kind of spot you’d want to hang out in for a while. I had the avocado toast with eggs, and it was super tasty. The house-made cold brew was smooth and refreshing - definitely a highlight and something that gives this place its own touch.

Only downside? The pricing. Overall the menu seems kind of overpriced. I don’t mind paying more if there’s something truly special, but I wish they had one or two unique things that really set them apart.

Still, I’d come back - just maybe not for a full meal every time.

Waited roughly 20 minutes before asking the barista about my order, only to find out the ticket never printed. Normally I wouldn’t be entirely upset about this because things happen, but when I finally asked about my drink, the barista told me she had assumed I was waiting on food. 20 minutes (!!) of standing not far from the counter and not once was I asked if I was waiting on anything. Maybe it’s on me for waiting so long before I said a thing, but it’s honestly a little baffling to not ask a waiting customer once in that span of time what they are waiting on before they speak up. I debated on just leaving and being down $8, but decided to give them a chance. The coffee was mediocre.

I absolutely loved the environment here, everyone was so welcoming and there were great conversations! I ordered the vegan sausage and egg sandwich with a matcha with oat milk which was done quick and tasted good! It wasn't anything over the top, but it was exactly what I was looking for. It may be a little difficult to find if you're going for the first time since it's in a little hall with shops. Google maps will navigate you to a bike store, that is correct :) Also, the description currently states no to-go cups which they do offer now. Updated from previous review on 2025-06-04

So you go down this cute shop alley and at the end there are a bunch of bikes and riders. Just past that is Tailwind, and at first wasn't sure what to expect, but it turned out to be an amazing brunch choice. Great drinks, got the matcha (they do foam art!), and a turkey pesto sandwich. 10 out of 10 recommend. (Side salad was perfect too!)
