Rude and disrespectful service

This place had great food a year ago. I think something changed. The fried chicken sandwich’s buns were untoasted and the sauce made everything soggy. It just tastes bad

Place is going downhill. Management problems and inconsistent service.

Cant buy food/drink after 1140pm!. Got there at 11:41 PM was told that Systems shut down can't take cash either. Can't order food. They should update the closing times or update online that their system closes at 1140pm, so they can't take orders in part.
Really bummed as i was excited to try the food.

The vibe here is amazing! From the anime littered references on the walls to a tv in the corner streaming anime.

And you can't forget about the food, everything I ordered was delicious! I seriously have to go back and order myself the large bucket.

We’re Top Chef fans from Canada and were excited to try this place when we were in the neighbourhood for a show. Social media makes the atmosphere and food look amazing. What we experienced was very underwhelming. The decor was cool but it seemed cold and unwelcoming. The online ordering system from your phone at your table sucks. It would have been nice to be able to speak to a server and get recommendations. Luckily we had looked at the menu prior to visiting. We were unable to complete the online ordering as at checkout it only accepts a zip code, which we don’t have. Fortunately the staff was able to help us order and pay after getting frustrated and asking for help. We ordered chicken combos with dipping sauces. The chicken was dry, overly salty and tasted freezer burnt. The fries were decent and fresh. Dipping sauces were tasty.

The oyakodon is deep fried 😵‍💫 they could have at least make this clearer in the menu

Great place to stop by and have a drink! Their sake flight is quite delicious and affordable. The interior is filled with anime stickers and merch, tons to look at while there!

The popcorn chicken is nothing more than miniature dino nuggets. The fries are very crispy though and flavorful, 5/5. Wouldn't suggest a large group of friends to come here. Limited seating. Not a classy bar vibe, but very well decorated with a lot of anime/Japanese decor. Glad I gave it a try, but wouldn't really come back!

I really wanted to like this place.
As a huge fan of Top Chef, and of Chef Shota, I had been looking forward to eating here.
I ordered Just the Chicken and the charred edamame.
The karaage was disappointingly dry. If this is their main staple, on a small menu, I would expect this item to be done perfectly.
The charred edamame was delicious, and the saving grace of the meal. Wish it had arrived before the karaage, so I could have used the sauce underneath to liven up the dry chicken.

We were greeted immediately after walking in. Told to sit where we like. The vibe in the restaurant is a 10/10 with hip hop music accompanying the anime & Japanese aesthetic. The food was a 11/10! Perfect blend of spicy and savory. Can’t wait to come back and try all the different combinations of sauces and courses.

The chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked!

Pretty good food, enjoyed everything I had. I just got the regular chicken combo but didn’t try any of the drinks. The ketchup was interesting, I wouldn’t get it again. I’d come back
