Another restaurant we wish we had first visited years ago, not when we are moving in 2 weeks! Prices appear high, but the mixed grill for 4 basically served 8, as we all had plenty of leftovers the next day. Those fresh pitas are chef's kiss delicious and they are unlimited (within reason, I'm sure) when dining in. The mixed grill came with 5 mezze selections. We were all so happy with everything - flavor, quality, service, ambiance, everything. Amazing.

This is one of the greatest restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of dining at. The customer service was phenomenal. The staff was extremely pleasant and very attentive to all our needs. The food was of the highest possible quality. Everything was fresh. Amazing flavors and great options. I was visiting for two weeks and I ate here almost every day. It's a restaurant with the ambience. The beautiful Middle Eastern chandeliers gives this restaurant an over the edge advantage over any other restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of dining at. I am very tempted to take a flight from Los Angeles every weekend to eat here again.

Went with a group and had the chefs choice- it was amazing!! Great food, large portion, and loved the family style meal so we could try many dishes.

We generally enjoy Tanoor but today was different. We ordered different plates, falafel and pitta bread were good. We ordered chicken shwarmas and chicken was smelly. Fatayir spaneekh was too sour. Food wasn't the worst part.We were 4 adults and 2 babies. We called ahead of time and asked if there is a place. Host said yes and we reached in 10 mins as spoken. However, after reaching there, host says, there is miscommunication and you will have to wait. We were with 2 toddlers who were hungry. There was no way we could wait. We argued a little and then host says ok i will give you a table but you have to give it back in 40 mins. We literally gulped our food and got done within time. On top of it, when the check comes they said, for 6 people we automatically add gratuity. I can't believe 6 people include 2 year Olds as well. Never going here again.

Food was fantastic. And came to us quickly. Most impressive was the waiter, Mason. He really made our experience there the best ever. He was polite and attentive. The decor was beautiful, music wasn’t loud or annoying. And they had a prayer room. But honestly the service was amazing. You should give Mason a raise!

Tanoor in Seattle provides a pleasant dining experience overall. The service is welcoming, and the atmosphere is inviting. While the kofta was a bit dry, other menu items were satisfactory, though not particularly memorable. It's doubtful, but I might consider giving it another try if I'm back in the area.

Delicious food, large portions, super friendly staff, how can you start a visit to Seattle any better than that!? Really enjoyed the fatayir and beef and lamb shawarma...and baklava was like a homemade one! Excellent meal for sure!Next day = "Second round"...two things I wanted to try - shakshuka - talking about it for months and finally... Very good. On a spicier side, but really taste..with a fresh pitas...amazing! And then Knefeh....super sweet, beats even baklava how sweet it is, which was a great weapon to tame the spicy shakshuka. Half will end up in the fridge as I reached my limits....and both nights served by Altynai - friendly, efficient, giving you a very good suggestions = well done!

Stopped by Tanoor a couple nights and wow, their pita is next level - so fluffy! Loved the olive oil and zaatar dip it came with. Got the combo shawarma, and although the chicken and beef were just decent, the lentil and rice side dish was a standout. Don't miss their batata harra sauce as well. It's spicy but a total must-try!

So impressed. Started with the FRESHEST, fluffiest, most delicious pita served at the beginning of the meal with a z'aatar herb dipping oil. Every component of the meal following were amazing. Babaganoush ($6 for side size) and Batata Harra fries (GET THIS) were brought out after (starters?) - fries were topped with a lovely garlicky paste (toum) and a side of spicy Harra. The babaganoush was nice and smoky and creamy with a generous drizzling of olive oil on top. Then we got our mains - the chicken shawarma plate ($23) was humongous. I don't think I've seen a larger chicken or rice mound in one portion before. Kafta sandwich ($16) was also delicious - tender and flavorful kabob in yummy sauces and fresh veggies in a pita. Absolutely beautiful interior. Our server was so cool, I wish I got her name.
