One of my favorite Japanese food experiences: great service without being fussy, wonderful food and choices that you don't often see around Seattle, and a cozy atmosphere.

Date of visit: 2023/04/28The first meal after getting off the plane and arriving in SeattleI was taken to Seattle Winner to eat Japanese foodmmm, how different is the Japanese food in the United States from the food in Taiwan? ?The conclusion is! expensive! expensive! expensive! Although the overall taste is pretty goodBut the CP value is really low!I ordered a Pearl Box SET with my friends that day.The asking price is 65 mg~?But the content as shown is all kinds of Japanese food in Jiugongge?Dear viewers! This is probably half the price in Taiwan~~I also ordered skewers and drank some sake.Overall the skewers are okayQuite authentic tasteBut the price is still a bit high~But this Japanese restaurant feels like it’s run by ChineseMaybe because it's lateThe clerks also formed their own table and were having fun there. The service attitude is actually not very goodIn addition, the overall space environment is pretty goodA bit like a dim Japanese food shopThis is probably the basic Japanese food in the United States~~Stop being so demanding! !Food: ?????Drinks: ?????Atmosphere: ?????Service: ?????Price: ?????Location: ?????Summary: ?????

Edit to add: They are currently closedMy experience was not good. Unfortunately to the point I won't give it a second chance. Middling service, the food seemed weirdly off (like bad?), and just kind of felt like I shouldn't have been in there.

It’s closed but without any updates on Google
The food is pretty good and I have been here multiple times. The rating of this place seems to be much lower than what I would

Dirty glasses and plates, servers were good but short staffed, food was very meh for the price, small portion skewers, etc. go to Wallingford instead

Nobody in the restaurant on a Saturday evening and no mobile orders coming in or out. Server seemed annoyed we were there.Ordered Tonkatsu Set and the food came out suspiciously quick. There were very clear signs the food was not made to order or fresh.Heat-lamp temperature pork, a single cold fried oyster, salad with rotten lettuce, and other mediocrity - all for $30.Plenty of good Japanese food in Seattle, skip this place.

this restaurant’s employees won’t stop blasting music in the middle of the night despite being underneath apartments with students trying to sleep

Love it.
Overpriced and stale uni dishes.
Rondo in capital hill is 100x better.
I ordered the spicy salmon oshizushi and it only came with 6 pieces for $17. That’s absolutely crazy, they didn’t even give me soy sauce until I asked and then they forgot to give it the first time I asked so I had to ask again. The wait time was also long. I had a party of 5 and they charged 20% automatic gratuity even though their service was garbage. Never going back, their prices are crazy high, service doesn’t even match their prices, and their food is only ok.
The menu was very limited and the service was bad.
I ordered toro uni don. The toro is minced instead of a whole piece, and it tastes very fishy and weird. Honestly everything else was fine, but the toro in the toro uni don is so bad that I have to give a two star to justify it.
