The intimate glow of Saturday evening set the perfect stage for our anniversary celebration at Tapas Angel. Each tapas dish told its own story - layers of flavor unfolding with every bite. Our friends' eyes lit up as plates arrived, the server moving with the grace and timing of a conductor. From the first pour of wine to the final shared dessert, the evening flowed like a well-orchestrated symphony. Some places merely serve food; this one creates memories. We're already planning our return.

I went with my partner and a friend of hers visiting from out of town for my partner’s birthday. All of the dishes were delicious and Diego made us feel like we had our own personal chef. He provided great conversation and was sure to give a detailed presentation of everything we were served. We ordered the Sangria to drink, Tostones, Espinaca, and both empanadas on the menu for appetizers, the Cameron’s and Pulpo for the entrees, as well as their dessert. My favorite dish was the Pulpo - it is the best I’ve had outside of Spain. I will be coming back and look forward to tasting more of the menu. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Ordered the 3 fish tacos, 2 beers, one arepa benny. 63$ with tip like 75$

Each taco is a single bite. Beers $9 for less than a pint (had 30% head). The benny is a runny egg on a bagel type something with 4 cherry tomatoes. The water was delicious however.

Haven't been to Seattle downtown in a long time, but this encouraged me to hide my wallet and not eat for the rest of the day.

Grossly overpriced for something that tasted average and bland. Got about 13$ worth of food. Stay away.

A must-visit spot in Pioneer Square! The menu is expansive but coherent, with rich flavors and genuine passion behind every dish. Diego is a gem of a person who clearly pours himself into what he makes and how he serves it to you. The music, the ambiance, the wine, also all carefully curated. Don't miss it.

Every day I wake up trapped in a nightmare. Every night is haunted by a sleep paralysis demon. Every waking moment I am terrified of going to sleep, terrified of what will happen when I close my eyes, even to blink.

That was before I had the pleasure of eating at Tapas Angel… I’ve lived in Seattle for over 9 years, dined at some of the most delicious and iconic Seattle dining experiences, but nothing have been as transformative as going to this place slightly tipsy on the way to a Seahawks game. My sleep paralysis demon has been replaced by the wet dream thoughts of the empanada of the day. My fears are replaced by the hope of more sangria. The food here is among the best food I’ve ever had, and the service was so phenomenal it got my salivating to eat even before the food arrived to share.

Do yourself a favor and eat here

We got the arepa con queso, torrezno and Cubano. Absolutely delicious. The thing that really made this nice was the amazing service and charisma the owner brought to the place. Great culinary experience.

Diego was wonderful. Made sure our sangria was full, and chatted with us often. He explained each of the tapas that we got and what made them special. This place is a hidden gem. If you want buckets of food for a low price, this isn't the place. But if you want a delicious hand-crafted meal, this was incredible. The best sangrias, empanadas, fish tacos, and honey (for dessert) that we've ever had!

We were pleasantly surprised when Christine and I happened by, looking for a late breakfast. The owner, Diego, greeted us like family and was very attentive to our needs. Let me tell you that our meal was a one way ticket to flavor town, folks! Their house-made sausage was excellent with just the right amount of spice. Christine's fish tacos were flavorful and the fish was cooked properly and seasoned well. We were lucky to stumble upon this hidden gem and will definitely be back next time we're in Seattle!

Kid-friendliness: I didn't see anything that would lead me to believe that children wouldn't be completely welcome. The owner, Diego is a great guy.

This place has amazing food and drinks. When you come up to the door, you’re unsure, but once you step inside, you are like family!! All types of Spanish, Latin American, and South American food and drinks. A must eat when you’re in Seattle Pioneer Square District.

What a wonderful restaurant. The host was so gracious and the food was excellent. Each small plate was excellent and the accompanying sauces were flavorful and complementary. And the pulpo was perfection. I felt like I was in Madrid! Well done!
