The burrito was alright. But not a lot of flavor for the carnitas. Then on my way back to my jobsite the burrito ripped through the bag and I lost about half of it on the road.
Thanks a lot shitty paper bag manufacturer, whomever that may be.

Not sure if management changed but the food didn't seem nearly as well seasoned as it used to be

I love these guys, they are really kind and friendly in a not so hospitable environment. I moved here from Texas and this is one of the best taco trucks I’ve found. The portions are pretty awesome. I really like the mulitas & tacos. Carne asada is usually my go to.
If you want to eat the sun, ask for their habanero. It’s literally 🔥🔥🔥

What happened?!?!?
This was my go to for years. The food has gone downhill in quality and portion. Same family, completely different food.
Ordered a Carnitas quesadilla and a lengua taco plate plus 2 cokes, was $38.
I have to mention: I ordered 2 cokes in the bottle, received 2 cans instead. When I asked to get the bottles, I was told that “this is the new price for cokes.”
Sooooo, either coke is now $4.50 per can or…I got gringo prices. I speak enough Spanish to know that the Latino guys behind me did NOT pay $4.50 per bottle. This was a helluva insult, when I’ve literally ordered $100’s of dollars of food from this same family. Like, you recognized me, then decided $9 for 2 cans…?!?!
My theory - this family is sick of this location, and sick of the problems that come with it. They know that they can keep raising prices (quesadilla is now 55% more expensive than 2 years ago, and half the size) and “if you don’t like it, go somewhere else.” They serve half the transients and drug dealers in town, so it works.
But as for us adoring fans… :-/
If you can get to it, my new favorite spot for authentic Mexican is Taquería El Asadero on Ranier.

I've eaten here like 30 times since it's one of the only Mexican food places near the ID. I usually get their carnitas, which are great in taco or burrito form. The service is always great.

I will tell you right now - if you are looking for authentic Mexican food in Seattle, this is probably the only place to get it. Seattle has a lot of really good food, but when it comes to Mexican - it would be nice if it would just stop trying. HOWEVER!! This place is the one tiny little gem that Seattle has tucked away where you can get real Mexican food. AND it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. AND the service is fast and very friendly. AND it's a nice welcoming atmosphere - well, on their little patio area - it IS located in a rather unsavory area, but once you get through that to their patio, it's very nice. The lengua tacos are to die for. The salsa they have (both red and green) are authentic tasting and hot without burning your face off. Something gets lost in the flavor when the spice is too spicy - but theirs is not. Honestly, I won't even go to any place else in Seattle if I'm looking for Mexican food. This place is A MUST.

Our server, Samuel, was very pleasant and attentive! We ordered the chili rellenos and they were delicious! Samuel was generous with the warm salsa and chips. We will be back!!!
