I agree with other reviewers that this store is not a credit to the Target brand, even if it is a Target Express (I did not see a sign saying "Target Express", that info came from the reviews here on Yelp). I pulled into the parking garage to learn that I needed to spend $20 to get a 45 minute validation. Backed up the ramp and found a spot on the street. After checking this out I am convinced this is basically an urban convenience store for all the people who live in the nearby apartment buildings and do not have cars. OK for what it is. I keep trying to give Target a chance but I still prefer Fred Meyer which is about a mile away, offers free parking for unlimited time and has far more of everything.
I just had a similar parking experience as others mentioned earlier. Below is what I responded to Target via a survey they sent. "The parking situation at the Ballard Target store is troubling. I was there to pick up an online order (totalling -$15).
