My wife and I have been three times now to Taste of Mumbai and have had a really good experience every time. We’ve been twice for dinner and once for the lunch buffet. It isn’t cheap for the two of us, and we aren’t connoisseurs of Indian cuisine or anything, but the food we have had is really good. We especially like their mango lassi! The staff are all eager to please and friendly. There is a mounted TV with Indian music videos playing at all times, and the actual sound is playing throughout the restaurant from decent speakers, not just coming from the TV speaker. There are fresh flowers in vases on the tables, which is a nice touch. The day we had the lunch buffet, the food choices were plentiful and kept to a good temp. Their garlic naan is delicious. We haven’t brought our teen kids yet, but we have seen families as well as small groups of just friends and couples dining there. We done eat out a ton, but the mango lassi puts this restaurant on our list!

Check it out! We visited tonight for a light snack and to see what’s become of Yen Wor Village. Really good! South Indian Idli sambar with chutneys and North Indian chole bhatura were both very good. They brought us onion and achar (pickle) to accompany the chole bhature on request. The chole was less liquid than usual for e.g. Delhi style, but delicious. The pickle was really good southern style. Yum! The menu is huge, with lots of Southern specialties (the chef is from Kerala), so I’m eager to come back and try more. They have all the usual northern dishes, tandoori, butter chicken, etc., lots of vegetarian and vegan items too. And pizza! Also some unusual items like dhansak, a Parsi recipe from Mumbai/Gujarat. The place was almost empty on a Friday night, so get on down here. You’ll like it!

Went to Taste of Mumbai after work on a thursday night. The restaurant was empty at around 5pm but I noticed they had a lot of take out orders. The staff was amazing and seated me promptly.I cannot express how happy I am with their service and patience while explaining the menu.My party of 3 ordered the Veg Samosas, Chicken Biriyani, and Butter Chicken Pizza. All the food was a 5/5 for us, we got medium spice for the biryani which was perfect (careful, it builds up!)Lastly the Mango Lassi and Lychee Lassi were so yummy. It was such a huge glass that I had to take the rest home for dessert. Can’t wait to come here again to explore more of their menu.Street side parking

The food here is incredible!!!!!! My husband and I love to try unique dishes on menus, and everything we ordered was delicate and flavorful. The gluten free fried fish was very moist. We will be eating here again.

No onion, pickle. I made fun of the name of Chole Bhature. This was my last order. I will never order it at Taste of Mumbai. Who serves Chole Bhature like this?

This is becoming one of my favorite lndian restaurants. There food was just ok when they first opened a short time ago, but in a very short period of time they changed the way they they were cooking their meals and spicing the food so it's very good now.

Great food and service, can't wait to come back and try the lunch buffetKid-friendliness: We were on the earlier side of dinner and there were other kids there. They brought out closed lid cups and were friendly with our kiddo. I think there were kids options available but ours just ate a chicken dish.

We visited West Seattle for a week and ate here twice. The service was fantastic and the food was even better. I tried the Lamb Pepper Fry and it was absolutely delicious. We returned two days later to try the buffet. While I rather enjoyed everything that I tried, the Butter Chicken was absolutely phenomenal. I'll be going back the next time we visit the area!

Tried their lunch buffet today. For $22 you had several dishes, salad, condiments, desserts and masala tea.The butter chicken was spot on. They had a beef chunk in a broth that was very tasty and very tender. They had tandoori chicken but was not in mood to try. The pea and potato's was good. The dal was good. Rice was very good. They had a dal patty that was very good. The palak paneer was good too. The julab goman and rice pudding was good. The raita and papadum was very good. The tamarind chutney was a little thin and muted. Possibly thinning down a commercial blend or if homemade needed more tamarind and a little more thicker. Masala tea good. They brought fresh Naan to the table. Was nice texture and flavor.Service was attentive. Interior nice. Will return.
