Sean and his team were fantastic. Our table was ready for us and perfectly set up for us. The food was authentic Italian and delicious. The pasta was cooked al dente and the sauces very well seasoned and balanced. Service was impeccable.
I got the Paccheri pasta, which was absolutely delightful. I was happy that this dish was made without egg, as many Italian forward dining experiences have trouble accommodating me. The points lost for me include the odd Diet Coke flavor (I assumed it was the can version but this tasted like it was made at the bar) as well as how cold it was in the restaurant itself. Was here once long ago and have since been sleeping on it as one of the lesser Ethan Stowell restaurants in my mind, but wrongly so. Went in with a difficult (dietarily) group the other night and was truly impressed. The server was outstanding and really knew the menu. More than that, the chef worked with our needs and really delivered, a feat that can be harder and harder to find these days.
