Very mediocre experience. Dishes are hit or miss but never great. Carbonara did not have the yolk mixed in, and had 1 lonely piece of guanciale. Only redeeming quality is that it was cooked (almost) al dente.
The focaccia is ok but they bring the oil and vinegar in a ketchup cup. Maybe it is just there for decor and not actually meant to be used. How are you supposed to dip the bread there, let alone reach the vinegar at the bottom, and not make a mess in the table?
Restaurant temperature is unusually cold for a $50+ experience. Only nice thing in their decor might be the bar, tables are small and cramped.
For the price, way better options in the city

Of the 3 dishes my son and I got, there were problems with 2 of them. We never complained or sent anything back but the server caught one error right when she set down the first dish, saw that it was wrong, and took it back.
They made a major substitute, trading one pasta dish for an entirely different dish and never communicated that to us. Again, no sending stuff back or wasting anything but after the meal I asked about it because my receipt still showed the original pasta dish, not the substitute I got. She was baffled and unaware.
Overall, I expected a lot more. Maybe my expectations were too high. Even the host I thought was kind of a little bit of a dick; (this blonde kid/dude) I asked to be seated away from the crypto crowd to just get a little more privacy. He proceeded to surround us extra close with the next seatings, placing tables right next to us even though there was more room. It seemed like he was trying to make a point since we asked for more privacy - eat it.
I emailed mgmt and got a pretty slow pretty disorganized response days later (had to dock another star for how bad this follow up was). They said they'd make it right but I haven't seen anything. I don't think we're owed anything, moreso just letting them know what the tick tock is.
Maybe the lesson is once a resto group gets bigger and conglomerate-like they just end up looking and feeling like publicly traded Darden (olive garden) even if they don't mean to.
That beet salad was DELICIOUS though!

New Year’s Eve. Complete bust. Undercooked pasta. Main course never came. This place was a complete mess. The bar tender told us to leave a good review. We where in complete awe of this. Go somewhere else.

They were short staffed and we waited for over an hour for dinner. The steak was underdone likely since rushed to cook it and I took home to cook it more. No one offered to remove a drink or appetizer from bill for the hour wait and I was still charged a 22% service fee. Not Cool. Please rethink how you make things right for a customer.

While we enjoyed the restaurant, we had a few issues. We decided to splurge and go a mother/daughter dinner and found reservations here. We were greeted by a newish server who had worked there 2 weeks but did not know the menu at all. Did not know anything about the food. So the manager came out and explained it thankfully. We ordered Caesar, which was really good. Ordered two pastas which had potential but they took so long for them to come out we had to ask for them and then they wound up extremely salty. I was never asked if I wanted more wine, which I did because of the wait.. We had a fun night but were disappointed by our experience here. The kicker was the 22% service fee. I understand this is a thing but we really had poor service. I sadly do not recommend this location.

Mediocre pasta with 22% automatic tip
Food is very good and the restaurant is quite nice! The staff was nice too but they forgot our appetizers twice and finally gave it to us after we had finished our main courses. They said they would comp the appetizers and then when the check came, the appetizers were still on there. The table next to us got their entire meal for free because the waiter forgot what they ordered and had to ask again. Food was still great though.

BAD pasta, outrageously overpriced. Go elsewhere.
Wandered into Tavolata for dinner on a Tuesday evening after living in the neighborhood for a while. Had their dinner special of 2 pastas + bottle of wine or a salad for 45$.
Pastas were really bad to the point I didnt even finish mine. Weird flavor profiles, lots of sugar in everything, pasta wasnt fresh... just shockingly bad all around. Low quality ingredients, worse recipes.
We had the rigatoni (low quality sausage, spongy pasta, syrupy sweet sauce, cheap parmesan on top) and the ravioli (decent filling, VERY sweet weird butter sauce drowning everything), and a caesar salad (bad croutons, too salty even for a caesar).
I was already annoyed that I paid $60 for the dinner but normally the two pastas we got would be 25-30$ EACH. I would have been PISSED if I paid that much and got the dishes we had.
Oh, and why $60 you ask? Because they add a 22% service charge automatically to your bill. Maybe its listed somewhere on the menu... but I didnt notice and the sever didnt say anything. I only noticed when paying and the card machine said 0%, 5%, or 10% tip which was odd so I looked at the bill.
Classic overpriced, "trendy" Seattle restaurant with sh!tty food owned by some corporate restaurant group. Do not go here.
2 stars cuz our server and the hostess were decently nice and the place was clean and decently decorated.

Mid and overpriced...pasta with meatballs for $36 ? I Ordered a drink, they made it wrong and I didn't drink it, I told the waiter about it (he apologized) and then they still charged me $19 for it.
And then the mandatory 22% tip...
Makes sense why the restaurant is empty on a summer Saturday night.

Incredible pasta dishes!! Highly recommend ordered a few dishes and sharing! The 3 for $45 or 2 w/ a bottle of wine on Monday and Tuesday is a great deal! Cesar salad was really good too! Food is 5/5 and friendly wait staff!

I look forward to coming to this establishment for its uncompromising excellent food cocktails and service.
I always hope to be served by the server that claims that they are from Bremerton.

Came here for father's day and everything was wonderful. Three of us split 4 happy hour items and were pleasantly full. We got a great recommendation from the server, and am the staff were kind and helpful. Wish I took photos, but we'll be back ?

Went for the late night happy hour and had probably the best cacio e pepe I've had! And I've had some great pastas in my life. Overall, the bartender was very nice and the ambience was good.
One thing that bugged me though was the automatic 22 percent built in service charge. I'm happy to tip and if I was a large group or something maybe it would make more sense, but I didn't like this and would probably not return because of it.
