Beautifully prepared and delicious food.
Stopped by this morning to load up on pastries for family that was visiting, got a few tea cakes and donuts some savory treats like the gruyere and shallots croissants and tried some new things with the miso caramel cookie.
Everything that we got was flavorful and well-cooked.
The lobby is bright and open and I love all of the different plants. When I went the line was wrapped out the door and I was concerned it would take forever but staff had things moving quickly and smoothly without making me feel rushed.
Definitely recommend checking this place out!

It tastes like these pastries were going to medical school to live up to great expectations, and they were doing great but not feeling fulfilled, and so dropped out to live their dream of being artists.

So delicious! Love all the creative flavors. There are SO many different things I wanted to try, I will have to keep coming back since I only let myself have one at a time :)

A very cute pastry shop in the neighborhood where you can drink wine and/or coffee solo or with friends. Was recommended to come here by a friend. I got the hazelnut praline flan which has a very crispy croissant shell! I can see the specks of vanilla bean inside, so if you like flan I would recommend this. The gateau basque has a short crust like shell with a vanilla custard cream inside, not too sweet and very good buttery taste. The rye pain au chocolat, I was very curious to see how the rye plays into the flavor, but it’s super flakey and tasty. Enough chocolate taste with every bite, but beware a friend told me to eat it that day otherwise the next day the croissant has a chewy texture probably because of the rye.

Lovely little neighborhood pastry shop. Very cute inside. They have some interesting pastries and cakes. I got the miso shishito brioche donut and it was really balanced - savory, pillowy, and correct filling to dough ratio. Latte was also very good but temperature could have been a little warmer.

Holy zaboomafoo, Batman! I generally like to visit pastry shops when I travel and this place is completely off the rails amazing. Everything I ate was exactly what I wanted it to be, from the pastry cream in the mango cronut that transported me back to SE Asia eating a sun warmed mango, to their classic croissant that would rival any I've had in Paris. The only thing that this place is lacking, only thing, is a t shirt. I always like to say I go on pastry pilgrimages to different cities, but I think I've found the aptly named Temple of Butter and Flake.

Went in for my second time on a busy Saturday morning and it was absolutely worth the wait. Got a bundle of amazing pastries at a great price. The stars were the cinnamon cream cheese cruffin and the quiche Lorraine—simply divine.
