I used to go here and get takeout at least once a month but since the new owners took over it’s really gone downhill :(
Since the new owners took over it's gotten really bad. It's too bad, it was a local favorite. Id steer clear from now on...

***FOOD POISONING ALERT***
I’m a little frustrated because I ordered here the night before I had a flight to San Diego to attend my first work retreat. Today was the flight and I’m missing it because I’ve spent the morning going back and forth between the bathroom sink and the toilet. 5 vomit sessions later I’m finally starting to feel better but it wasn’t in time to catch my 1:49 flight. I didn’t look deep enough into the reviews to see the chicken in the back of a car. Basic food safety standards aren’t being met. Won’t be recommending and won’t be coming back.

0 stars the food didn't have no flavor and they said they only put salt in fried rice like really and it's 20 dollars for some plain house fried rice that don't have no flavor. Fried rice was white like explain to me how is that fried rice? You are just stolen from me and then you didn't want to give me a refund. I should be able to get a refund is your food is trash the food taste like fridge. Like it had been prep and in the fridge for days before they used and the beef got fridge burns and was kinda hard. The food sucks bad and not even a sauce to put on this no flavor fried rice just nasty. I want the owner to return my money. Your are robbing your customers with that trash food is not even fresh. I don't recommend anything from this place just trash .bad service all the way.

Pricey even for the area, it was $30 for my plate and a sodie, but totally worth it! The spicy beef and chicken was incredible, and brought the heat. No gristle, cuts were tender and delicious.

The quality of the chicken was horrible.
Old and smelly! You should NOT sell it.
I couldn't eat more than a couple pieces because of the smell.
I'm worried about my stomach...
I will never go back again for sure.
Food safety please. Especially during summer.

Grabbed lunch here
Friendly staff
The chicken is very bad unfortunately
It was so dry and tasted/smelled old. I definitely didn't finish it.
We'll see how I feel tomorrow ???
So far, the worst part is that it was $20!

Very nice folks run this place! They are always so happy and kind! Great energy here! Great food! So delicious! Quick service and good prices for how much food they give you!
Parking: Has its own lot, but there are only a few spots. It's such a good place to eat that it's always full! :)
Kid-friendliness: Could not be more friendly! Not just with children, but everyone, including my service dog!
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for people in need of one.

My daughter and I came in there may 19th right before they were going to close ..she got chicken Teriyaki and I got the taco truck outside my friend in the past. Got sick from there and she said her friend got sick from eating there. But I asked her, why did she eat there? She said she thought I would just them. She's been sick for 2 days with food poisoning
First time in since the ownership change. It’s cool that they’re offering the fresh fruit drinks and Mexican snacks. I was worried initially that this meant the teriyaki would take a hit, but it is as good as ever.Still absolutely can’t beat the chicken mini bowl. Best lunch on the hill.

I’ve been coming here since i was 18 I'm 28 now and anytime someone is like where do i go for bomb teriyaki i tell everyone teriyaki & wok is the one of the best teriyaki spots in cap hill. The last couple times I’ve gone the chicken is just so bad it’s like really dry and flavorless.I don’t know if they made budget cuts or this place is under new ownership but don’t order the teriyaki it totally sucks. The egg rolls are really good tho!! Sad sad sad

it’s kind of expensive and lackluster for a teriyaki place? the teriyaki is passable but could definitely use some more sauce and flavor. the rice was kind of mushy. also at close to 20$ a plate this is definitely on the pricy side of takeout teriyaki.
