Do not go if you have any dietaries. They are non apologetic and will make you pay twice if they served the wrong dish. After reassuring us several times the pad thai could be made without eggs, we were served pad thai with egg, which we realised after a few bites. It was my friend's first time eating egg which was a really big deal for her, and neither the manager or the waiter ever apologized for it. We notified the waiter and another plate was made for us. However, as they were throwing the other plate away, I told them I'd eat it because I hate throwing away food. So I ended up eating the one with egg. They charged us for both dishes and when we disagreed to it as it was their mistake, we were confronted with a manager who very rudely said we had ate the one with egg so we should pay for it and would not apologize for their mistake of serving us an ingredient which my friend very clearly could not have. In the end, they took the doggy bag we had of the surplus of food we hadn't had and threw it in the trash in front of us.Dietary restrictions: Do not go if you have any

I came here with some friends before going to see a movie and it was ok. We had been walking around the mall looking for a place to eat and this place could seat us immediately and had no line which may have been an indicator. We were hoping for decent Thai food but it was mediocre. Everything was just ok- service, food, etc. We all decided that it was not worth coming back.

Thai Ginger is a FANTASTIC find! It is located on the 4th floor of the Pacific Place shopping center alongside other highly rated restaurants. Thai Ginger is local and holds its own, even having the number one rated dish (Pad Thai) in Seattle. (I do not know the official name of the award but it's worth noting even if I don't know the name.).Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options are well marked in the menu and they pay attention to allergies, if they are aware of them. I did have the Pad Thai with the seafood combo protein add-on. It was amazing! It was served family style and the optional toppings were included on the: bean sprouts, cabbage and carrots, crushed peanuts.

Don’t listen to the reviews. This place is great! The red curry, all the grilled seafood, and the Thai tea was delicious! Definitely our spot for when we come to town for the shows at paramount.

Excellent Thai food in an unexpected place. Don’t let the fact that it’s in a mall scare you away, this is a neat little restaurant.

Glad we ate here before seeing the rating, or we would've really missed out. I and two foodie friends shared chicken curry and crab fried rice for lunch and both were DELICIOUS. I think it was the best meal we had in Seattle, and we ate at a LOT of different places. The amount of food was perfect! The curry came with a bowl of plain rice, and they had hot sauces for the spicy food lover among us, while I enjoyed the subtle heat of the original curry, and my friend with a dairy allergy was pleased to discover that both dishes were safe for her to eat. The crab fried rice contained LOTS of lump crabmeat, and it was VERY tasty. We were still reminiscing about the food the next day. Before we even ordered, we were served a small bowl of soup (it was tasty), and the staff was friendly and attentive. While the mall itself was pretty dead, Din Tai Fung had an insanely long line, Pike Place Chowder had plenty of business (we had eaten there the day prior), and there were plenty of other diners in Ginger Thai with us. That said, we had a nice, quiet lunch, during which we could converse comfortably. If we had stayed in Seattle longer, I totally would have eaten there again, and I have little doubt that my friends would have joined me.

Thai Ginger in Seattle left me disappointed as a vegetarian. The menu offers limited options, and the spring rolls seemed to have a fishy aroma, possibly due to shared frying oil. The red curry was overly sweet, and the golden fried vegetables were too oily. Not the best choice for vegetarians seeking a satisfying Thai meal.

Do not order online. I ordered online and went to pick it up. I told the host I was there to pick up an online order and he walked away and then kept ignoring me and did other things. Finally one of the cooks asked if I was helped. I explained again. After witnessing conversations back and for I finally asked if they had my order. They said they didn’t. I showed someone else my order on my phone, confirmed, and he told me they didn’t have one of the two things I ordered. So I asked for a refund. He told me they couldn’t refund me and I had to figure out for myself how to get a refund online. After going round and round with them I just picked something else I didn’t really want just to replace it and get out of there. They just didn’t care that I was paying for something they weren’t giving me. Unbelievably bad experience.

Absolutely delightful Thai flavors at this spot. It's in a mall so not easy to find but definitely a hidden gem. The curry was super tasty, great fried rice and the pad see ew was as good as it gets. The spice levels were perfect. Cucumber margarita was a hit. They have a full bar available.

I was worried about the bad reviews but I flat out disagree with them - maybe things changed. I found the food to be delicious. I had the calamari and the red curry dish. Both of them were packed with flavor and had a good balance of texture and temperature. The sauce for the calamari is very tasty and unique. The red curry is really something special. I’d like to have that again. Here’s what made the red curry even better. The portion was huge and it came out very fast. The service was great from the moment I walked in. I noticed smiles and attentiveness from the host and server. The lighting is warm and ambient. I think the space is used well. It just needs more customers. It’s actually a good restaurant. I’ll be back the next time I’m in Seattle. If you like Thai food, you’ll like it. I say give it a try.

I visited this saturday and sunday with my parents. Thanks to the wonderful servers of Thai Ginger, we had a good time. They provided us hot water twice, and we enjoyed different kinds of food thanks for recommendation. My parent and I'm so enjoyed the all food and also satisfied with great service ! Thank you so much again:)

Our hotel concierge recommended this place. It’s was close and in the top floor of the Pacific Place mall. Good food, comfortable seating, friendly service, nicely decorated, just what we needed. We shared a couple of delicious and beautifully presented items. The Angel Prawns appetizer was fantastic as was the Pineapple Fried Rice, so full of flavor. Thanks Paul for the recommendation!

It's very unfortunate that after today we won't be coming back. We moved into the area a few months and we're looking for a new go to Thai restaurant close by. We ordered from Thai ginger and we're hooked ! We'd probably ordered take from them at least once to twice a week. We usually have no issues and the staff is usually pretty friendly ...except for today. So we called around dinner time for some take out . One of the waitresses who I've seen time and time again in the place answered. I asked if I could place an order for a pick up , she asked what we'd like ( how those interactions usually occur) . I reply "can we have an order of the yellow curry vegan with fried tofu three stars with white rice " ( our usual order due to dietary restrictions) she reply's " would you like meat or vegetables in that " I was a little bit confused at the question ( she has just asked if I wanted meat in my vegan curry and or vegetables to my aleady vegan curry that comes with vegetables) so I repeat my order thinking maybe there was some noise or some reason she didn't hear me . She cuts in and says " no , I heard you " and repeats Do you want meat or vegetables added .I said no I asked for fried tofu . I can just hear the attitude growing in her voice .Then she goes down the list of things I literally had just told her seconds before asking ,"how spicy, white rice or brown , fried tofu or soft " she clearly didn't listen to a thing I said then got an attitude and hung up the phone. I'm a very patient and understanding person. I get signals get crossed things get misheard but I'm sure this isn't her first run in with guest and a bad attitude. I'm over this being the new way to treat people here in Seattle where being rude is the new norm. There are plenty of other Thai restaurants here in Seattle that are just as good if not better where you will get treated respectfully.I'll just pay the extra money or take a car ride to pick it up before I go back to this place .

quality of this place has gone down almost in lock-step with the quality of the mall. Only an Okay food rating, stuck to the floor when I walked in and the red curry 4* was off. I could not finish the meal for fear of becoming ill. Didn't even taste like Curry.I used to like the place so did not give it 1 star, but based on today only? I won't be going back anymore.Pity
