We ordered bun rieu and hu tieu ap chao. The bun rieu was ok, not the worse, not the best but expensive….a bit too expensive ($16) for how much topping they were giving (2 small pieces of crab cake, some huyet ) and too sweet for my liking. Hu tieu ap chao was better. Will not order the bun rieu again.

Good food. Underrated spot. extensive menu. My coffee was 90% blocks of ice and maybe 2 oz of coffee, a true rip off. Food was delicious.

I was so dissatisfied with this store that I took my mother there for dinner tonight. After I finished my meal, I discovered a cockroach in the soup. Will not return since the store's hygiene is deplorable!! As a consumer, I hope the Health Bureau inspects the hygiene on the interior.

Came in on a Tuesday afternoon and the place was empty. We ordered Thanh Thao Rice Dish and Banh Canh Tom Cua (total $39). As a Viet who was born in Vietnam , I didn't like any of the two dishes. The shrimp was cooked long time ago and the noodles in our banh canh were hard. I would never come back again since there are lots of decent authentic Viet restaurants in the area.

I recently had the opportunity to try the Thanh Thao Com tam at this restaurant, as it had been a while since my last visit. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed with my experience. The pork chop I received was dry, and to my surprise, they only provided a single piece. While I understand the challenges of operating a restaurant amidst inflation and rising costs, the quality did not justify the $20 spent. Had the taste and quality remained consistent, I would have overlooked the portion size. To add to our disappointment, my husband ordered the Bo Luc Loc, but he received less than 10 pieces of beef. Moreover, we discovered that some bell peppers still had stickers on them, indicating a lack of proper washing and attention to detail. This further tarnished our dining experience. Considering our overall dissatisfaction with the food and the lack of attention to quality, we have decided not to return to this restaurant. We hope that improvements will be made in the future to ensure a better dining experience for others.

I decided to review as many pho places in Seattle as I can.I will use the same system with each so they can be easily compared.Pho Dac BietBroth (Salty style): 5/5Meat portion: 5/5Meat Freshness: 2/5(Sometimes meatballs or flank will have a funky old taste and both had that)Noodles: 4/5 (yeah the noodles are pretty much all the same but sometimes they are over cooked and soft and sometimes they are the weird wide one which is no good. These ones were fine)Ambiance/cleanliness: 3/5Stay tuned for more pho reviews.

Food wise, one of our favorite Vietnamese spots in Seattle though we haven't tried very many dishes. We usually get beef phở and bánh xèo (pork and shrimp crepe).

Wow. Finally, an excellent Viet shop in the Seattle area. I will be back, and don't feel the need to keep searching.Technically 4.25ish stars, but rounding to 5 because it hits all the spots well.- Grilled pork vermicelli: pork was flavorful, tender, slight char. Noodles were great, the veggies were cut well, the lettuce was nice pieces and not shredded. Pretty much the best I've found in the area. Tamarind Tree is about the same quality...but I would come here before there.Fresh rolls: rice wrapper was fresh, light and slightly gummy (in a good way). Perhaps a little heavy on the pork, but the noodles were excellent in it. The peanut sauce was warm and well madeCha Gio: the wrapper isn't quite right for an imperial roll...BUT! The filling was very good and the wrapper is not egg roll like, it is light and crispy. Tamarind Tree still wins here, but these are good in their own rightThe combo fried rice: was great. We then had the Fried Dough Cake: wow, that was yummy. Finally, the ice coffee was a very deep coffee flavor. Not over done on the chickory, nor overly condensed milk...a good, deep, balanced coffee. How I wish you weren't 45 minutes from home...but it's our new go to post Museum of Flight
