I loved the vibe immediately once I figured out how to open the door! Since we couldn't find any staff, my friend and I grabbed a seat and chose our drinks and some snacks (nuts and olives) from the QR code menu.
When we went to the bar, I ordered a cocktail from the menu and a Bodhi (which any Seattle local knows well). The bartender immediately gave me attitude. He claimed he didn't know the cocktail because 'the owner doesn't tell us these things.' When I pivoted and asked for an Old Fashioned, I was met with the same confusion and had to repeat myself.
As someone who has worked in the industry, I understand having a bad day, but he made sure we felt every bit of his frustration. Instead of politely explaining he hadn't learned the new drinks yet, he just complained about management.
When I ordered snacks, he initially brushed me off, claiming he didn't even know if the kitchen was open. He did eventually circle back and offer to check on the food availability, but by that point, I felt like such an inconvenience that I just said, 'No, it's okay.'
I’m willing to give this place a second shot because of the atmosphere, but if that bartender is working again with the same attitude, I’m turning around and walking out.

This place is so cool. I love the Jazz nights and Stephen makes the best cocktails and mocktails I’ve ever tried. The mocktails are more than just juice and sugar which is often what a lot of places default to. It’s become a regular spot for me.

Bad service, one bartender with a beard was washing his face in the had wash station, then picked his nose while washing his face then went right to serving drinks without washing his hands. Absolutely disgusting. We left when we seen this. Will not return.

The bar tender didn’t talk at all to us. Just pointed to us when we sat at the bar.
Jon Bellion played very loudly over the speakers which is terrible experience.

Went on one of our first dates with my boyfriend. The atmosphere and drinks were something that stood out to me. Went there over a year ago.

Great place for a first time experience or if you are visiting. Looses it's magic with the low quality service and basic drinks after the second visit.

Really fun place Go there and have some food in the front and have some drinks in the back when you're done
Great experience and excellent live music.
This place gets some foot traffic because of recent insta reels. It is a speakeasy, so the best thing going for it is really the entrance - a small non-descript door to a room with a wall of lockers where you open a specific one to find the handle of the main door to the space - and enter.
Once you enter- it is a small but nicely done space. I have been here twice, about six months apart. Cocktails are average- the balance of lemon juice to alcohol was totally off in the Bees Knees - very lemon forward. The mezcal old fashioned was good with balance. The fourth cocktail was forgettable and not balanced- a rye , ginger ale combo.
Most of the drinks you could make just as well at home. Service was non existent and we ended up going to the counter to order. Food- we got the pork belly bites and truffle fries, both were good and as expected. Nothing stood out at this place.
With other really nice craft cocktail bars with more inventive , well made drinks and excellent service like otter bar or the nook nearby- i would give this place a miss. Folks come here to make their insta reels on the entrance but it’s been done so many times, it’s no secret and the rest of the experience is not worth the effort.
