You can get a mango yogurt smoothie (off-menu) that is pretty fantastic!
We ordered three drinks. Two oat milk brown sugar boba tea and a lychee sparkling boba. One brown sugar boba was barely sweet and the other was overly sweet. My lychee sparkling was so sweet so I could not even finish it and to call it sparkling was a deceptive description. It was definitely disappointing.
I got the Ube brown sugar milk tea. I think they could do with a menu revision as a lot of the items aren’t super appetizing. It is a little bit sweet but I’m a big fan! I’ll likely be coming back.
This review is for the smoothies 👍
Very cute little boba shop with friendly staff. :)
Very yummy! Cute lil shop in international district. Easy ordering as they have a regular register and then a self-order kiosk. I had their brown sugar drink and the cashier was extremely nice when I poked my straw through the plastic. Very affordable price point.
The bobas are sooooo disgustingly sweet first of all. The brown sugar deerioca tastes like sugared milk and the royal no.9’s tea flavor is so strong and has a weird soggy taste on top of it.
Edit given owners feedback: I’ve had the Alley in multiple cities, none of which tastes horrible like this location. It’d be nice to just take customers feedbacks and made adjustments instead of justifying.
First time was amazing, 2nd time was very blend. We ordered the same thing both times, not consistent.
The Alley in Seattle is a spot for those who prefer a lighter, more subtle milk tea. The tea itself doesn’t have a strong brew, and the sweetness is a bit much for my taste. If you enjoy a more delicate flavor profile, this might be for you, but personally, I won’t be coming back.
Very delicious food, beautiful space

Ube Taro Smoothie
Recently, I went to The Alley in Seattle. We ordered two of their most popular drinks: the Ube Brown Sugar Crème Brûlée for my brother and the Lychee Yogurt for me. I'm not a big fan of boba tea, and I was pleasantly surprised to find they have other healthy drink options. The Lychee Yogurt was delicious, and I was able to choose a less sugary version. I'm so happy to have found a great dessert place to go to now.
Highly recommended ?

I first tried The Alley boba shop in Vietnam and loved it, so I was thrilled when they opened in Seattle!
The place is modern and welcoming. Their signature brown sugar Deerioca pearls are delicious, chewy and sweet. My favorite drink is the Brown Sugar Deerioca Fresh Milk, which perfectly blends creamy milk with sweet pearls.
The staff are friendly and make each drink just right. Whether you're a boba fan or new to it, you should definitely visit The Alley in Seattle. It's like having a piece of my Vietnam trip here in the city. And don’t forget to try their croffle because the cream is delicious!
If you’re afraid of sweet drinks, you can select less sugar for all drinks except the Brown Sugar Boba series. The sweetness in those comes from the brown sugar boba itself, so less sweet means less boba.

The Alley in Seattle is worth 10 star. The customer service was outstanding and the boba was DELICIOUS. My boyfriend and I were so pleased with our drinks. It’s a new establishment therefore having the owners or management around to assist is a plus for the staffs and the customers. I don’t understand the negative feedback about the taste & decor. Maybe Claire Nguyen should open her own Alley lol.
