The Alpine Diner and Bar Reviews
The Alpine is one of our favorite go-to diner breakfast places in the White Center/West Seattle area! We have always had a pleasant experience with the wait staff and the food! My favorite is the French toast or the avocado bagel 🙌🏻 my husband loves the country fried steak and the biscuits and gravy!
It’s a place for good casual breakfast and brunch; they’ve got good cocktails as well as the most delicious NA turmeric/orange juice tonic.
“Disappointing food” feels like the wrong thing to shout out because after more than an hour our food was never cooked, served, nada. Turn the music down, and install something to slow the front door down so it doesn't slam shut LOUDLY every time someone uses it. It was so loud I had to put in earplugs just to have my meal.

The Alpine Diner and Bar is a charming diner with a bar in the back. It offers a variety of food options, including vegan dishes like the vegan burrito and vegan hash. Customers have praised the quality of the food, with quick service. However, some have noted that the prices may be a bit high. The diner also serves breakfast burritos and pizza. Accessibility for wheelchairs could be an issue.
The bar area has received mixed reviews, with some customers reporting poor service. The diner is known for its well-executed dishes, such as the 10 oz ribeye steak cooked to perfection. Customers have also enjoyed the Pot Roast and Rigatoni with Bolognese, though they recommend sharing or taking home the large portions.
The waitstaff are described as personable and efficient, engaging in authentic and professional conversations with customers. The menu features a diverse selection of choices without being overwhelming. Particularly notable are the chicken tenders, which have impressed even those who typically avoid chicken.
