We sat at the end of happy hour and ordered a few happy hour bites as appetizers, intending to also get some mains afterwards. The happy hour salad, slider, and pork belly were SO delicious that we immediately ordered one more of each and were full after that. Guess we'll have to go back to try the main menu too!
the Ballard cut has been amazing we have always enjoyed going there service is impeccable and food is fantastic.
We love coming here and taking friends and family to share a delicious meal. We were pleased with the food, ambiance and service.
Limited menu. Most items felt like they tried too hard to make it unique. We had 6 people all ordered something different yet no one thought it was great. Our server was pleasant but had to be reminded about drink orders Table seating was odd - the first table was so snug we barely could sit down. They moved us to a booth that was open on the long side facing the street. However it looked directly at the table for 2 in front and across from us - so it looked like we were watching them eat Expected a lot more given the price.
The service was immaculate and the staff was great. The whiskey specialist was very knowledgeable and everyone was very kind and considerate. I can't recommend the New York strip for the price. It wasn't seasoned well and unevenly cooked - 1/4 of my steak was medium while half was medium rare and the other quarter was more rare. However the sweet potato that came with the steak was very delicious. My husband's pork chop was rare than medium rare. I would go back for their great whiskey collection and hospitality front the staff but maybe just try an app next time.
Food was great, service was amazing, and selections of whiskey is top notch. Staff is super knowledgeable and will lead you in the perfect direction for your night. Thanks Tommy for the hospitality!
The only redeeming thing about this restaurant is the location. Food was fine (at best) but dramatically over priced. Took 40 minutes to get drinks (10 before anyone took our drink order and another 30 to get the drinks). Server was friendly, perhaps even attempting to compensate for the delays and mediocrity of the food. The availability of reservations reflects this assessment. Maybe it was an off night, but it didn't feel that way.
The food was great! The drinks were amazing, but we REALLY enjoyed our server! She made the evening FUN! I find fun service a rarity and so appreciate anyone willing to spread joy!! I regret that I don't remember our servers name!
Every item on the menu is delicious. I love that even the vegetable dishes are unique and flavorful. Favorites included the pork chop and Brussels sprouts and the sliders on the happy hour menu. Cocktails are well done too!! Our server was friendly, kind and gave great suggestions. Will be coming back!!
Love this space. Great atmosphere. Amazing food. Our server was so helpful with great recommendations. Will definitely be back

Starters were the mussels and clams which was outstanding !!and Brussels sprouts also very good. The pork chop was fantastic, great spice and flavour. Server was very attentive, funny and great suggestions all around. A bit pricey but overall no disappointments here.
Wait staf was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and kind. The made a custom flight of scotch for my husband's birthday, went over the menu thoroughly for GF the options for his celiac, and even put a candle in his steak! He absolutely loved his birthday dinner 💗
Our service was very good. Unfortunately our meat was raw in the middle after ordering it medium and it was a $300 steak. Big disappointment
Cocktails were delicious. The bone in pork chop was huge, and enough for two people. It was also one of the best pieces of pork I have had in years--juicy and perfectly cooked.
This was our first time at Ballard Cut and we really loved it. The food was really quite good, the service was excellent and the ambience was nice on a Wednesday evening. Our only complaint is that we wish they would indicate which menue items are gluten free. Otherwise not complaints, hight recommended.
