Food poison. I reached out to them in their FB but no responds.
We ate there Sunday and Monday we felt sick. We thought it was because of exhaustion but come next day we all are vomiting, loose watery stool (diarrhea), fever. We missed our work due to this illness. I hope you guys would reach out to us.

I've been visiting here for years and keep coming back for the food. Their fried chicken is some of the best in the city. They used to have killer wings, but I haven't seen them on the menu in a bit. Bang Bang Bowl is Fan Fantastic. We can always find a seat and the atmosphere is perfect. Just enough TVs to have any local team on but not too many that the spouse doesn't approve (I don't want to go to a sports bar).

With that said, over the past visits, maybe 12-18 months, the service just hasn't lived up to what can be expected dining out. This is a neighborhood restaurant, I'm not expecting anything crazy, maybe similar to what you get at Red Robin. They switched over to a counter service/app based system, which is whatever, I think it's tacky, but we know that before going there.

To avoid that whole thing we sit at the bar and it takes forever to get someone to acknowledge you. There could be 2 or 3 employees behind the bar and you have to flag them down just to get water. Mind you, they aren't making drinks or working with other guests, they're just in their own conversation. It just feels like this is a locals bar, where they have a bit of leeway with most of their guests so there isn't a sense of urgency.

All that said, the food and atmosphere are tops so I'm coming back, I just hope there's a little urgency with the guests that maybe aren't there every weekend.

The food and drinks are great but I really don’t like only ordering on my phone. I like my phone but it’s harder with a group to order having to pass around someone’s phone and figure out payment up front, it’s harder to make modifications to the food, there’s no one to find to ask questions about the menu or if you need something else, then you have to track someone down. If a server had come around, we probably would have ordered another round of drinks, but having to go through the phone again, we just skipped it. My napkin only had a knife in it, no fork so then we had to track down a fork.

Avoid the veggie burger. Has this weird earthy taste, couldn’t finish half of it. The fries are average. The burger was soggy, sweet tasting and so not worth $22. They add 2% service charge for pickups as well. Overpriced and extremely average. Don’t understand the high reviews.

Went here the other day with a friend for lunch and the food was good but the service was rude. The woman with the dark brown hair was not nice to us. Not sure what we did to upset her! The buddha bowl was great though.

This used to be amazing but COVID got them. I'll miss the pre pandemic Barking Dog Alehouse.

The QR code ordering system is problematic. Otherwise this place is perfect! Great food, killer atmosphere & ideal location.

Barking Dog is AMAZING for groups!! I recently brought our son’s first grade soccer team families here for a celebration and the staff was so easy to work with and kind to us and our kids. It was really refreshing! The food and drinks were great too. Coordinating with Dan via text could not have been any easier. We will definitely be back and thank you to the Barking Dog team!!

Awesome food and atmosphere, my only complaint was that the staff was more intent on socializing with each other than helping us.
We waited several minutes after eating to get a check, and my boyfriend ended up having to walk up to our waitress to get the check.
I get that there are online options, but they need to communicate that that is the better option if they don't want to serve. We couldn't switch from live service to online service to pay the bill either, which would have been a realistic option.

We came here straight from the Woodland Park Zoo, hungry as hell. The drinks were good and strong. I got an old fashioned. We started off with habeñero and mango wings, which were the perfect balance of spicy and sweet. And then I had their Leavenworth Lambburger which was honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life. Perfectly seasoned and cooked patty with great quality ingredients. Top that off with the friendly service and it was a great experience. Would recommend and would come here again next time I'm in town.

The cod fish tacos were extraordinarily good - they had a light seasoning in the fish and tasted very fresh. We also loved the Leavenworth Lamb burger.
