Not the best if you’re expecting authentic Korean food.

Apparently already causing a murder and multiple other disturbances in the neighborhood on behalf of their patrons isn't enough for this place. They continue to push themselves as a venue with no oversight and poor security despite no soundproofing. It's a f****** joke of a venue.

This place is bizarre. Every time I come they have a new format of how to order, no consistency whatsoever. First few times they asked us to place our order at the counter. The next time we had to wait to be seated and a server took our order. The next time we had to order at the counter again. They asked to bus our own trays but then the next time they said the waiter would do it. I don't get it??? We went most recently on a Saturday around 10pm and the restaurant doors were open but it looked like a bunch of workers and their friends hanging around inside blasting music. We asked if they were open and they said no even though the hours say they're open til 2am. Sad thing is that the food is pretty good and the ambiance is very similar to a typical Korean "barstaurant" but there are other better and less confusing Korean options in the U-district. Won't bother coming here again.

The Tteokbokki is the only thing saving this review. I got the rose flavor and ITS AMAZING !! If I could eat that everyday I really would. It's rich and chewy and is just so so good. Their wings on the other hand.. sauce isn't distributed evenly. Some wings were dry with no sauce when you flipped them over and the wings were soggy and just bleh.

I tried this place out for dinner with a couple friends. We had heard mixed reviews, but honestly it was pretty good! The food was good, interesting ambience and even better check(Thats 20% off with Husky ID though)!

Pretty disappointing experience. Came here for dinner when Korean Tofu House was too packed. The three of us ordered a tteokbokki (for 2) and a spicy chicken wings. The tteokbokki was literally made of water (maybe it was some light stock) and gochujang. Like it's not even mixed when it's brought in front of you. Needless to say that the taste was very flat; didn't taste much more than spicy. Without add-ons, the tteokbokki only comes with rice cakes, fish cakes, instant ramen and two dumplings. Not much variety. The chicken wings also only tasted spicy. And the sauce was poured on top without mixing. The service is non-existent. There was only one waitress for the whole place when we went. You gotta get up to go order at the cash. The tteokbokki didn't come with plates. After asking for them twice, we had to get up and go to the counter to get them. Giving it a very generous two stars for the atmosphere which is pretty chill.

I really like the atmosphere here and the staff is super sweet. My friends and I came here on Saturday night. Pretty decent food. Heard that the food wasn't good here but it lived up to my expectations for Korean food. They also have beer towers which was a plus.

1. Wait time is long2. Fried chicken was undercooked despite being SUPER expensive3. Waiters are poorly trained. Often times they would mess up your order.

Get the fried chicken

Served us raw chicken and wasn't even apologetic about it. The owner said a little raw chicken isn't going to kill you. Absolutely appalled at this restaurant.

WARNING: I ordered Karaage and they served raw chicken. I noticed the owner and he gave me a partial refund on this chicken; the menu I ordered costs 6.99 without tax and he gave me 6.15 in cash. More importantly, his excuses were not understandable to me. He talked in an off-hand manner that I won't get sick for this small portion of raw chicken and this happened because I ordered when the kitchen was about to close. Later he said if I get sick they have insurance to cover my medical bill. I didn't even ask him that. I noticed that this moral hazard does not only threaten the insurance provider but also the health of customers. He did not directly apologize to me and my friend who I came with, and he seemed he doesn't feel sorry about what happened. I felt they only care about the money they get from the customers even if they harm customers' health. If you check out more one-star reviews, you can easily find more evidence that I am not the only one who had raw chicken.
