Kiomi was our server and was absolutely amazing. The steaks are out of this world and cooked to perfection.

The food at this place is incredible! My husband searches the world for great steaks and said this is the best and most buttery Japanese A5 wagyu he's ever had! He had an ultra steak flight and added the wagyu, his favorite was the zabuton aside from the wagon! I had a filet, which was magnificently prepared with the green peppercorn sauce, (fantastic), and king crab, while tasty, I could do without. Our server, Min, was great, he overheard us celebrating my promotion at work and sent us a complimentary dessert! That was so nice! He was a perfectly attentive! 5*s all the way!

We had a truly magical experience at the Butcher’s Table last night! Everything we ate or drank was prepared to perfection. We started with the fat-washed Black Manhattan. The smooth texture and the balance of flavors were just astounding. We moved on to the Kushi oysters (hooray, they are in season!), served with lemon and fresh horseradish, the bone marrow with currants and the pear salad (with endives, Beechers cheese and a lovely salad dressing). All of these appetizers were delicious, but the bone marrow stood out for us as exceptional. Who would’ve thought to combine currants with bone marrow? But the sweetness of the fruit with a smoky flavor of the marrow was a perfect marriage. For our main course, we had the Zabuton and the Cap of Ribeye. We ordered the five star option, which was the perfect balance between flavor, texture and marbling. It was cooked exactly to medium rare and we were blown away by the charcoal flavor!

The service was the best either of us has ever had in Seattle. Our server, Izzy, was kind, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. Really, he was more like a guide, who led us through our culinary adventure, without ever being overly attentive. Our sommelier, Kyle, was equally helpful, balancing his clear passion for wine with kindness and professionalism. We selected a Mourvèdre (Full Disclosure, 2021), which utterly surprised us with its fullness and balance of flavors. I can’t imagine a better pairing with those steaks.

Finally, we love the atmosphere of the lower dining room, including the soft lighting, quiet music, comfortable seating and gorgeous decor.

Overall, we felt honored to have a dining experience in which it was clear that every single person brought forward the best of their abilities and passions. Huge thanks to the chef, management and all the staff.

My wife and I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The service was quick and very welcoming and the selection of food on the menu very fitting for a steakhouse. We were served the steak tar tar and our expectations were blown away by what we are served. Mind you this was out first experience with steak tar tar so we have only been curious about it by seeing the dish served elsewhere online and on TV. We also had the Ultra steak flight and both agreed that was some of the best steak we have ever had. Our one regret was with ordering the bone marrow... we only ordered the embellishment portion and it was just not enough of it! The Mac and cheese was delicious as well, can't say it was the best we ever had but it definitely did not disappoint. This is the first time my wife and I have been to Seattle, ee have another trip here booked in March with friends and we will most likely be coming back to this establishment!

The ceasar salad was good, but it was drowning in dressing. I could not eat it. I told the server and ordered the daily soup as a replacement. It was potato leek, which I make all the time. It was good, but way to heavy with bacon grease (?) and too rich. I could not eat it either. I should have known better than to look for a light refreshing lunch in a steak house. How do people eat these dishes AND a steak in one setting? I was charged for both. Very Disappointed. It was an expensive mistake. A menu needs a balance of tasty light and heavy dishes. This was just across the board heavy.

Butchers table provides excellent service. I’ve gone in multiple times and every time I go in I sit at the bar with will. He is an amazing bartender and is one of the best bartenders I’ve had in the south lake union area. I highly recommend this spot.

Food is great, definitely comes with a price tag though. All in all been here a few times and it did not disappoint a single time, had the prok chop the most recent visit and it was very good. The service was good but always have felt the sommelier is disappointed i did not order a more expensive bottle.
