I waited 15 minutes only to get a refund instead of the items I ordered.
At 10:30 AM, when the café was very busy, I ordered some bakery items from the cashier. My total came to $14 for four items, but I only received one item. I stood by the cashier, waiting for the remaining three, but they never came.
After 15 minutes, I asked about my missing items. Instead of preparing them, they asked for my payment card again and handed it back to me with two receipts—one showing $14 and the other showing $2. I wasn’t given any explanation until I asked, and only then did they tell me they had refunded me instead of fulfilling my order.
I understand that they were busy, but issuing a refund without my request or informing me first feels disrespectful to the customer.

Wow can I just say I have never looked forward to Friday's this much in my life. Afternoon pastries, cakes, and bread, oh my! Neighborhood "secret"; go stand in line before 2:15pm on a Friday, just saying. Do it and you'll thank me. I'm salivating thinking about the amazing pastries the students produce and can't wait to go back!
