First visit to the Carlile room and it did not disappoint. Food was wonderful, our server fantastic, cool & fun vibe and an easy walk to the Paramount. Will definitely go back!
Chicken things were delicious! A great place to eat before a show at the Paramount. We'll be back!
Reservations for our wedding anniversary prior to “A Beautiful Noise!” Everything was perfect. Arriving early for reservation, seated at bar for a glass of champagne! Greeted by the General Manager who I describe as one of the most pleasant and attentive! Seating guests, engaging guests, etc. watching the “service” was almost as wonderful as the food, our waitress, the atmosphere! Will not wait for special occasion to return!
Absolutely fabulous experience. Sean was so kind and helpful in warmly welcoming us to Seattle! Our drinks, meals and desserts were delicious. We were visiting our son and the entire evening was just perfect! Thank you so much.
This has become one of our go-to special occasion restaurants. Tonight's experience confirmed why. The food is unfailingly good, interesting, and the wide variety of drinks pair well. What always shines brightest, though, is the service. We always feel so well taken care of here, but it is never pushy. Little surprises really take the experience to the next level. Yes, it's a great place for a meal or drinks pre or post show at the Paramount across the street, but we find it works perfectly for any time you just want to treat yourself. Special shout out to Ben tonight for the Brandi Carlile swag. You truly made our night!
Carne Asada and schnitzel were super. Triple coconut pie was superb. We had great service, will return!
Great place to eat before a show at the Paramount. Good food, cool 60's-70's vibe, and great service. Make sure to make reservations!

Everything was excellent. Highlights were the Sichuan Peppercorn Shrimp and the Baby Back Ribs with butternut squash and poached pear. It fell off the bone. Yum.
The host on the evening of 11/22 was absolutely terrible - No acknowledgement of having seen me, I was early to my reservation and I asked if I could sit at the bar to have a drink while I waited, she said No, I pointed out space at the bar and without looking, she said No, I asked if I could wait somewhere inside, she said No. She provided no alternative and no apology either and the restaurant was not full at all. The menu is extremely limited and unflexible if one has dietary restrictions and they won't make any modifications to the dish, unless it is omitting a sauce that already comes on the side, therefore the menu is very unflexible. The server wasn't attentive, my friend ordered a 2nd drink and she didn't ask me if I wanted another one when we had to flag her down to order the drink or when she came back with it. She didn't check in with us after that. There was someone asking tables how their meals are, he skipped us. The buzzer/runner was extremely kind though. The place is beautiful but the service or food are not worth it. I would not recommend it until they make changes to their service. Just walk to Chan!
We would recommend making reservations early, as the tables fill up quickly, especially if there is a show happening at the Paramount. From arrival to leaving, the experience was great. The ribs were exceptional as was the flat iron steak. Can't wait to go back!

The wait staff were attentive and personable and did a great job. The ambience is fun, and I like the space. Our cocktails were expensive but good. The location for a show at the Paramount is perfect. The food, however, is just OK. Not bad at all, but nothing really stood out. The pork ragu pasta was much better than the forgettable chicken parmesan. The taleggio cheese dip was fine, but there wasn't really enough for the focaccia that came with it. All in all, an OK place for a meal before a show, but maybe better for just sitting at the bar for a cocktail.
We had the ribs. They were far from tender. Served with potatoes and mustard sauce, the potatoes were so done that they would have been better. Mashed. And the mustard was quite overwhelming. Pretty marginal for the price.
First time there. Lively atmosphere, great service. Great cocktails, kudos to whoever mixed my manhattan. Steak was perfect, wine selected by server was perfect match. Ideal location for the Paramount theater too!
Wow! Had no idea this was a Tom Douglas restaurant until I saw Coconut Cream Pie on the menu. This did not disappoint. Every item was spot on from cocktails to appetizers, to entrees to dessert. Great vibe, excellent service and a perfect spot before a show at the Paramount. They even had some specialty cocktails as a nod to the current show. We will go back!!
I cannot imagine ever again eating anyplace else when going to a show at the Paramount.
The menu changes according to the season, as is right…
My date and I shared a mushroom fusilli that was utterly divine. She had a lovely salad, too.
Yum, yum & more yum… perfect in every way.
