Tucked away off Rainier Ave, this Black-owned hidden gem has become one of my favorite stops when I’m craving comfort food that feels like home. The fried grits (a local secret not on the menu — ask for them!) were cooked to perfection: crisp edges, creamy center, and seasoned just right. The pork chops were tender and full of flavor, clearly made with love and care....

My son wanted Soul Food for his birthday and we found this place on google not far from our house.

The food was absolutely amazing and folks running the place are so nice. We are definitely telling friends and family about the food here and coming back again.

Visiting Seattle from Dallas and took a Lyft from our hotel for this experience. Very good food all around. Excellent customer service. If you’re in Seattle, check out The Comfort Zone.
