small intimate venue. first show we saw was not great but that was due to the artist. second show was great. drinks are decently priced. food looked good but we did not order any.

Went here for a concert. The concert was great.I appreciated the bartenders. Thank you.But the speed and forcefulness that the staff forced us out of the venue after the concert was obnoxious. It broke the post concert high and made me distracted enough that I didn’t close my tab. It was uncomfortable in the moment and annoying in hindsight. It definitely makes me want to avoid this place as a concert venue.

For anyone who has dealt with ableist event coordinators / staff:Went to see a show here a few weeks ago. The front door staff was so kind and patient when I explained that I could not go through the metal detectors because of a medical implant. Even more, the floor staff was incredible when I nearly passed out from heat two hours into the show (I run hot, mosh pit, didn’t hydrate enough). They quickly got me to the back of the space, into a chair, and then even escorted me up closer to where I was originally once I’d cooled down to enjoy the last few songs. I also witnessed them de-escalate a fight and remove someone from the venue in what felt like .5 seconds, so quick and quiet and still respectful / didn’t see any needless force used. I enjoy going to shows solo, and as a woman and a person that needs accommodation to enter venues, the staff here absolutely made me feel comfortable, safe and looked out for. Will be back!

Went there for an event. When getting drunk the bartender charged me 3x the drink. When asked about it he said he did not do that and showed me a random transaction. I then proceeded to show the bank transaction and he proceeded to get mad and told me to come around. He could have offered an apology or anything else besides getting mad for something he did. Anyways the event was good but the venues bartenders are rude and I recommend watching out for what they are charging you.

Nice vibe, nice sound stage, super friendly staff, clean environment. The experience of entering the place is pretty positive, there’s almost no wait for entering the hall.To be mentioned, it’s fine for not having an ID with you to enter the place, but you need to be 21+ with an ID to go to the bar area. The online ticketing charges quite considerable fee, but I guess it’s nothing to do with The Crocodile and Madame Lou’s.Wonderful place to enjoy performances.

I’ve been driving down from Vancouver to see shows here for a long time. I’ve seen some real great bands in a personal setting at the Crocodile, and smaller acts getting their start at Madame Lou’s. This is a great 2 venue combo.

We came here for a comedy show on a Sunday night. There are three separate venues here, and we were in the Crocodile itself. There was a line around the corner and everyone was going through security. I thought the whole process was very efficient. Someone came by to scan your tickets, and then the instructions for the metal detector were clear. Once inside, I thought the size of the place was perfect, not too big, and not too small. There is not a bad seat in the house, however, if you get a seat. This was a general admission show, but I assumed everyone got a seat. Turns out this wasn't the case and there were quite a few people who had to stand. The bar area in the back never had a long line and there was a water jug on the side that was self serve, using those cone cups you get at the dentist's office. A few more chairs and this would have been a higher star rating.

Came here for the first date of a touring artist from Australia. Was here from sound check through the end of the night. Very impressive staff, they were courteous and professional, even towards the fellow who got tossed out of the venue. Show was sold out but it didn't feel over crowded. Sound and lights were excellent. Food I ordered was really good. Backstage area was spartan but clean and comfortable. Would recommend for a show or as a venue for a touring artist for sure.
