I used to go here a lot when I worked in the area but moved away so I haven't been since before the pandemic. I was disappointed that they took the orange marmalade off the menu. It was my favorite. Also their tea selection has decreased quite a bit. I remember there being many options of self serve tea, including yerba mate. Maybe it was the time of day I went but there were only 3 black teas: Earl grey, Irish breakfast, and a house blend with Darjeeling. Still good crumpets and I'll definitely try it again when I'm in the area, maybe earlier in the day though.

Definitely a unique experience and screams Seattle. The food was tasty and satisfying— I ordered two crumpets; one savory and one sweet. The staff are nice and do a good job of handling the crowd. This place is near Pike Place Market; therefore, it’s filled with tourist. The biggest drawback is the space—they are unable to accommodate the large volume of patrons due to limited seating. We lucked up and seating became available for us. This is something to consider if you plan on dining in. Overall, I do recommend this place and plan to come back.

I love the crumpets so much. I mean this. The Walrus is so good...but the woman at the register, as nice as she is, needs to learn basic customer service skills (OR the company needs to change it's policy on remaking drinks.)I meant for my drink to be iced and asked if they could remake it (it was made hot) and I was told I had to purchase just a new drink :( that's not fair, I asked for an iced drink, was told they only come in 16 oz, didn't recieve that, and am told I have to just buy it again???That's so weird ? I work as a barista too and I get small businesses struggle with finances but when I spend 6 dollars on a drink, is it not fair to just remake it for free? I thought it was actually common sense! I'm never gonna get a drink from there again because if I get it made wrong I know I'm SOL.
