It is literally life changing to have access to this meal service! I have multiple severe allergies that make it very difficult to find meals that I can eat without making them myself. Using custom plate has made my life so much easier, it tastes good, and I've never had any reactions to their food, which is much more than I can say for many allergy conscious restaurants I've been to. I also really love that they are local so there's no shipping waste associated with ordering from them.

When I was told that I was prediabetic and needed to make changes, I worked with the Holistic Chefs here to completely turn my life around. They provided me with the food I needed to heal my body, provided supplements to support my nutrition and gave support any time I had a question of any kind, even if I was going to a restaurant and wasn't sure what I could eat. Completely turned my A1C around and now I am in the normal ranges again.

I love love love this place. The daily meals and the wellness meals are phenomenal and not fussy. Everything tastes great. The macro meals are perfect if you are looking to loose weight or are competing in any type of fitness competition - they are not fussy, whole ingredients, real food and not chalked full of salt. They also saved me last summer when my husband was deployed and I lost childcare for 3 months, I was able to keep up my nutrition without the burden of cooking or the mental load of meal planning. Tamara was also kind enough to walk through the wellness meal plan I should get to help with issues I have been having since the birth of my child. I can't say enough about this place!

The Custom Plate's food does not taste good, and it is not at all what the site claims. My company contracted them for a lunch catering service, and I was personally very disappointed with how the food turned out. The images on the website and the fact that the food was supposed to be gluten and dairy free made the food seem enticing. However, the food was either very bland or salty, and almost always had an unpleasant presentation. Nothing was used to heat the food as well. The photos speak for themselves, and the actual food looks nothing like the images on the website. I personally saw the office attendance drop significantly because no one even wanted to eat the free lunch there. Additionally, some of the ingredients were mis-communicated. There was one instance where bacon was included in beans which were supposed to be a vegetarian/vegan option. While I do not have any dietary restrictions, there are many other people who strictly adhere to theirs; it is incredibly upsetting that these sorts of mistakes can be made by a company that's mission statement is to prioritize dietary restrictions. Finally, the owner(s) of the business have a history of reaching out to dissatisfied customers, demanding them to taken down their reviews.

I have used Custom Plate many times and their food is amazing. It is the best food service I have ever used. Not only is the food super healthy and locally sustainable but it is so delicious. I used them after my surgery it helped me heal quickly and I felt amazing due to the food I was putting in my body. I have a hard time finding delicious food considering I can't have gluten or dairy. They always took such great care to make sure I was getting foods that worked with me body. Oh and the owners are awesome and truly care about the people they are feeding. I would (and have) recommend them to anyone looking for a food service.
