Unfortunately, this place closed even for take-out. If you miss their lemon tarts as I, you can find them in PCC market.

Delicious for bread as well as coffee and light snacks.

The food is good and quite well done. A little pricey, but this is the way now.

This has always been my go to comfort place.

This was the first time we visited this eatery and ordered the plain croissant and cappuccino. The croissant was so buttery and flaky, loved it so much that we went ahead an ordered a Vegan sandwich and Chocolate crepe, loved them too. They have huge selection of home baked bread, muffins, flourless brownies and many more selections for the sweet tooths like me. Walking distance from Gas works park, nice ambience. They are cashless and only credit cards are accepted.

This used to be my favorite local store until I encountered a rude staff in the kitchen.

Went to purchase fresh bread. They don't take cash. Card only. Never going back. who doesn't accept cash. Foolish.

EB is local to my office and regularly go there. Lately at noon they are out of many ingredients which can be frustrating but today was the last straw. I ordered a sandwich and then watched as the guy behind me was paved and told that they were out of the cold cuts for the same sandwich. When I revived mine it had two small (scraps) of pastrami on one side and none on the other but they didn't even try to tell me they ran out. Just gave me what was left and charged me full price. Bad service, management and business practices.

One of my favorite before work breakfast spots. Have the turkey and cheddar crepe

Excellent baked goods. Lines can be long.

I recently bought a pre-baked Essential Baking Company Parisian Baguette and when I got it home, I discovered it was burned! Don't they have any QC? I did reach out to the company via their customer service email address with a description and the attached picture, but they didn't even bother to respond! So beware, either pull the baguette out of the bag before you buy it to ensure it's edible (!) or just avoid this company's products altogether!
