Visited a few times now and I firmly believe that their savory stuff > sweet stuff. Their flaky pastries are also great. I typically get their seasonal coffee drinks which are usually amazing. Recently had one that drank like it didn’t have an espresso shot in it but overall through all my times here, I’ve had a pleasant experience. The upstairs is also a real gem, especially when it’s warm out.

The pastries were excellent. The rooftop had a nice and cozy feel, but the view was just of the surrounding neighborhood which was just ok. The lighting and décor were wonderful though, creating a romantic vibe. Personally, I preferred the second floor indoor seating over the patio.
Overall, I highly recommend the cafe.

Tomato savory croissant ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ - super juicy tomatoes - wish it had more substance on it but I just adore it, like I love the taste of the juicy tomato rather than the creamy tomoato - maybe more tomato jam or sauce? - I wouldn't order this over a hand pie tho
Bakehouse breakfast sandwich ⭐⭐✨ - surprisingly just ok to me, despite reviews mentioning otherwise - it needs a sauce or something - I could tell the bread was good quality though
Breakfast burrito ⭐⭐⭐ - definitely needs a hot sauce - we got it to go and didn't notice any by the lid station but we totally could have missed it

The pastries were great and the coffee was fine, but the staff ruined the experience. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we weren’t welcome. The employees were more interested in chatting with each other than helping customers, moving slowly and making it clear they didn’t want to be bothered. On top of that, they were openly rude. One staff member even scolded my friend for picking up my sandwich, as if he were trying to steal it. We were clearly together, and the whole exchange was confrontational and unnecessary.
