Went to Fonte Bar before show at 5th Ave. Dinner was delicious and drinks were excellent. Wife had the crab cakes, and I had the salmon. Dessert was awesome.
Service took quite awhile wasn't especially friendly and wasnt super smooth- items missing and wrong thing delivered. food was quite good and we had fun.
Not usually one to leave bad reviews, but this place practically begged for it. The food was Safeway deli counter level—if Safeway left everything sitting out too long. We genuinely started wondering if they just bought the food there and reheated it. The fish and chips were a particular low point: we didn’t think it was possible to mess up something so simple, but we were proven very wrong.
Service was glacially slow, despite the place not being busy. The menu was extremely limited, which would’ve been fine if any of the options were actually good. Unfortunately, nothing felt fresh or remotely worth the price.
One positive: the atmosphere was fine. We sat outside, which was… okay. But that’s about where the highlights end.
Given its current rating, we came in with higher expectations—let this be your sign to adjust yours accordingly.
Food was fine, same with drinks. All good as long as you like sitting and waiting.

Amazing view
What a gorgeous setting! And right across from the 5th Avenue which was great for us. The food portions were generous and delicious. The drinks were good, but the service from the bar is a little haphazard.
Best espresso martini
My favorite espresso martini in the whole city. Service is also top tier, Sheldon is one of the best bartenders I've met - he is knowledgable yet personable and helps make this place my fave off day treat.
Came here to pick up a salad during lunch. I ordered the Southwest salad and was extremely disappointed by the size and quality. It was very small felt like a side salad more than a meal and the dressing was not spread throughout the salad just a lump in the middle. Would not come here again.

Dee was beyond amazing!!!! He is very warm, kind, and loving! Excellent service!!! His hospitality made us want to come back and order! A great asset to the bar! Thank you for a great experience!
Dee is very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. He’s a magician with drinks! Espresso Martini is delicious😋
Drinks and food were good but nothing special. $11 happy hour beers (down from $13) is pretty nuts…
Sheldon took great care of us at the bar during happy hour! The martini, margarita, and holy smokes are amazing!
Food was the only comment for me. Had the burger which in my opinion needs some adjustments. There was too little cheese for the size of the patty which is huge BTW. The bacon was considerably overdone which really took away. Bun, meat, and onions were all good but it could use something else perhaps a nice garlic aoili. Drinks were great, service perfect, and atmosphere was ideal. Still planning to return and try something else because the happy hour menu looked just right. Love the coffee, best in the city.
