Beautiful hotel. The atrium decorated for the holidays is very classy. We went for breakfast at the restaurant, and everything was tasty and the service was friendly and fast. The Teddy Bear Suite was also adorable.
If you are staying at the hotel, then it is a good idea to have breakfast at the George. The bacon is excellent as are the potatoes! The wait time from when you order until you get your meal is quite long, so be prepared in case you have somewhere to be. Do not order the link sausage--they steam it and it tastes raw and is cold on arrival. It really needs to be grilled !! I like the George overall though when you are at the hotel.
The George is one of the best restaurants in Seattle. They remodeled during covid and it's even more stunning now than ever. The food is great (perhaps the best burger I've ever had) and so is the overall vibe. Plus, it's connected to the Fairmont Hotel bar and lobby which was also remodeled recently and is beautiful enough to be on magazine covers.
