Came to watch a Man City game while vacationing from the East Coast. My bf enjoyed the Full English Brekkie and I liked the Fish & Chips (breading was a bit soggy). No English beers, but everything was nicely priced & there were plenty of options. Enjoyed ourselves and had a nice time despite City losing :(

After ordering, food didn’t show up for 1.5 hours- the first food came then. When we asked about the rest about 20 min later, they said it was coming out right now. 10 minutes later it was still not out. Once I got the fish sandwich, the fish was completely dry and unseasoned, and the bun was burnt, so it all tasted like charcoal. Couldn’t finish it.

Every time we try going here, they don't seem to want customers very badly. Last Saturday afternoon, the host stand had a sign that said "grab a table, we'll be right out." So we sat down in the covered patio area, got the menu on our phones, and waited. And waited. And waited. And after about 15 minute, left.

Previous experiences haven't been much better. If you do manage to order something, the fish and chips and the cheese toastie are both pretty good, but I'm not sure it's worth trying any more.

Food and a beverage per person. 20 to 30 bucks. Not bad for good food. And the fish and chips where definitely worth all of it.

Great place to watch soccer (Football) ⚽. They open early if there's an early good game, and there's a good vibe there usually. Some fans (Man City) in particular can get a little rowdy, but most are pretty chill.

On Aug 5th My wife and I were super excited to visit this pub as I use to work for a George & Dragon in Phoenix. There were maybe 10 other people in the whole pub. The bartender ignored me. No menus. We we used the Qr code, you can't expand the menus on your phone so bring a magnifying glass with you as it's the only way to read the menu. But the worst part was being ignored. Absolutely devastated and disappointed. Shame on you guys. But it worked out in the end as we found a restaurant down the street that actually had real menus, service and NICE service to boot. G&D, shame on you guys

The bar has a great atmosphere it is cool for watching soccer, the beer could be colder but not bad. The food is decent and the staff are very nice and attentive.

I'm a sucker for their full English breakfast and I love the atmosphere, but their service needs improvement. I walked through the door and made eye contact with the server. I sat down and waited there for 10 minutes with no one attending to me. I tried to flag them down by slightly waving but they kept their head down - looking like they're actively ignore me.

Another 10 minutes go by so I just I walk up to the server at the bar to order there. They tell me to sit down and they'll be with me shortly. Fine, I got back to my seat and waited some more. After what seemed like forever, they finally came to me and ask what I wanted to eat. They apologized for taking so long but at the same time, the pub is half empty and I swear I've seen people serviced that came after me.

I don't have a problem waiting, especially when you're short staffed and extremely busy, but experiencing that multiple times even on a very slow day left a bad impression with me.

I really like their food so if I really have cravings, I might try my luck and go back. However, I'm fully expecting to have to wait forever just to get something to eat.

Had plenty of fun watching various soccer competitions from the George and Dragon. Their English(ish) breakfast is pretty good (although I do ask them to prepare it without beans making it even less of an English breakfast). While their coffee is not going to impress you, you'll probably want to switch to beer anyways.
