We had a truly wonderful experience at Grill from Ipanema while celebrating my graduation with my family — including my husband, our two young sons, and my disabled mom. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. They congratulated my husband on his achievement, which was such a thoughtful touch and really set the tone for the evening. Most notably, they were incredibly accommodating to my mom's mobility needs, thoughtfully seating us at a more private table with easy access and plenty of space, ensuring her comfort throughout the meal. The ambiance was warm, festive, and inviting — perfect for a special celebration. The food was absolutely delicious, with every cut of meat cooked to perfection, and the service was attentive without ever being intrusive. Our sons were excited and well-fed, and we all left with full hearts and full stomachs. We're so grateful for the care and hospitality we received and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Grill from Ipanema to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. Thank you for making our celebration so memorable!
Surprised by the terrible service. Seated nearly 15 min before getting water and waited 15 to get the check after letting the sever know we were finished. Finally got up to pay at the register. Discouraging that the tip was automatically $70 which gives NO incentive for good service. Food was amazing.
So expensive. We won't be back. It was a nice treat but a bill for over $450 for 4 after a $70 coupon was too spendy
The meat was really good but there wasn't a huge assortment of sides on the salad bar however overall it was good! The service was top tier and so were the grilled meats!!! I would go again!
Was looking to enjoy some rodizio with a couple of friends, and hadn't been to Ipanema since before Covid shutdowns. The biggest disappointment was evident as soon as we were greeted and shown to our tables: A noisy musician was playing American covers & doing crowdwork with nearby tables, which both diminished the ambiance of dining in a (supposedly) upscale Brazilian steakhouse & made it difficult for the three of us to carry a conversation. A trip to the salad bar also left a bit to be desired... The mix of options had very little in the way of fresh produce to balance out the heavier meal being served tableside, featuring options like clam chowder and potato salad which don't pair well with rodizio. The rodizio itself was great, with friendly and attentive servers keeping our plates full throughout our meal. But with a mandatory 20% service charge tacked on (boo junk fees!), even with a Groupon (which was applied incorrectly, negating nearly 30% of the promised value) it came out to $80pp before drinks. I still have a slight preference for Ipanema's rodizio over Fogo, but the ambiance & salad bar are better at Fogo, as well as the price point/value.
We felt rushed. A lot of the beef tasted the same & it was hard to hear what they were saying. A sign on the meat skewer would have been helpful. The chicken was good, but could use more seafood. We felt like we were in a beef comatose.
Always a delight! Just the best! Wallet is a lot light but stomach much fuller and smiles all around.
Very nice food, service was amazing, would come again😇
So so yummy and the service was so sweet i loved it so much!! Definitely worth it 💓💓
The food was average, there were pieces of meat that were clearly not fresh and resembled a shoe sole. The atmosphere is pleasant at first glance, but as soon as you focus your attention - it is dirty and dusty everywhere. Everything is old. The place clearly needs a general cleaning. Service is also not the strong point of this establishment. They did not take away dirty dishes, although they clearly saw it. Snacks with which it is customary to greet guests also had to be asked separately. For such service you should be ashamed to include a 20% tip in the bill. I do not recommend this place.

It was a lovely experience, the food was perfectly cooked and so fresh. The staff were lovely and so helpful, and the atmosphere was great.
Food is good. The salad bar surprised me by being very good. The meat of course is what you come for and was superb.
The restaurant itself is run down, broken shades, chipped paint, dirty menus.
Spacious dining area with beautiful view.
Amazing food, great live music (Friday night), delicious tender high quality cuts of meat, great flavors, highly recommend.
ALL WAS GREAT, THE WAITER NEEDS BETTER ORDER COMMUNICATION. I'm still giving this place a 5 stars because overall the experience was good, the food was great and if I ever came back to Seattle I would go here again. I only say it that way because at the end of our dining we had a small conflict with the waiter
When we were seated he came up and explained to us the rodizio(rotation) style that is typical of most Brazilian restaurants. He told us we could have either the full service option which included all the meats and the buffet, or we could just go with the buffet. He never came back to ask us which one we wanted. My date isn't a big meateater, and did not want the meat option. When he brought us the bill, he included the full service option for both of us and we explained to him that she never had any meat. At that point he decided to give us a lecture about if we ever come there again we need to let him know at the beginning. I'm going to call BS on that, he's the waiter, it's his job to come back and see what we want for our order. It all got sorted out, but it felt like we were being accused of stealing. Other than that everything was great.
Brought my bf here for his bday and he LOVED it !!!
