This review isn’t based off the drinks because we were never served and just walked out.
We walked in on a Friday night and it wasn’t too busy. We walked up to the bar, there were two bartenders, bartender #1 and #2. (Update: bartender #2 is the general manager)
There were a handful of empty seats at the bar and a couple of tables with available seating.
As I walked up to the bar, I was standing in front of bartender #1 who just stared at me and didn’t greet me. After a couple seconds of an awkward stare, I greeted her first. And she still greeted me (barely) and doesn’t try to take my order or anything.
We sat at the bar waiting for the bartenders to have a gap so we can order. After waiting a while, we asked if there a specific person we should order with. Bartender #2 says they will be with us soon. No problem. But then someone walks in the bar, stands to our left and bartender #2 takes their order.
We were frustrated due to the service, lack of acknowledgement and the disrespect of taking someone’s orders when they knew we were waiting. Then we left.
It’s sad to write bad reviews but this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a bar. We just felt ignored and unwelcomed.
Update: thank you to the general manager for showing that they do not care about their customer service or patrons. Please go learn how to acknowledge patrons when creating your “art.”

Nothing to complain about. They handled it all efficiently.
Great drinks and atmosphere; the drinks are very expensive, but they are tasty and boozy. There were only two bartenders working and it was a Friday night so we often had to wait 5-10 minutes to be able to order a drink. Artwork was cool, vibes were immaculate 👌 there is no food on the menu but a couple restaurants next door that are open ~10pm

Great crafted drinks, seriously it is in such a hideaway spot friendly service and such a chill ambiance! Totally worth a visit
We had a great experience here in First Hill. This spot has a cool vibe with a creative cocktail list, a fabulous bartender (Fiona), and Seattle worthy music playing. There is also a collection of beautiful art on both walls.
A good espresso martini. Cool art. I’m told they rotate it too

I had a really disappointing experience at this bar. I came in just wanting a drink to relax, but was refused service—apparently because I didn’t tip. I understand that tips are important in the service industry, but refusing service over that feels unfair and unprofessional. If staff aren't being paid enough, that's something management should address. Don’t take it out on customers who may be going through tough times too. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, whether they can tip or not.
Got denied service after we tipped little for a few basic shots. We were polite the whole time. Tipping is based on servic not something you demand upfront. Won’t be coming back.
Cute place, no professional bar men's
Fantastic old fashion, I just wanted to go hide in a dark corner and enjoy a drink. This place was more than I was expecting. Dark dark dark room with dim candle like lights and wicked sick music that just sets the vibe. The bartender is leaving me be vibing with what appears regulars but I can see she is still looking over the make sure I'm not waiting. Reminds me of my fav pub back at home.
Incredible bar. Had a fabulous night here. Bartender was friendly. Every cocktail off the menu was a hit--tasty, well-balanced, inventive, fun. Spring for the $4 polaroid!
