Love the Gothic haunty theme with the unique variety of artwork that adds a splash of color and personality. I recommend the Solange cocktail, dangerously delicious. I could have 10 of those. Loved the service, our bartender was amazing, inviting, and great customer service. She was an absolute delight.

Almost always space. Unique spot with art everywhere.

I haven't been here in 10 years, back for a visit and it's as great as I remembered! Always has the right vibe, drinks and I swear my tab is always cheaper than the math in my head. Highly recommend, a little bit out of the way from the bigger spots to drink but it makes up for it. Worth the stumble from Capitol Hill

A few NPCs hired as bartenders who do not even acknowledge you. I had to say something for them to reply. Vibes were off right when you get there. The other reviews about this place are true. They expect tips when they do not give service that is tip worthy. The hideout should stay hidden. Won’t be coming back.

This review isn’t based off the drinks because we were never served and just walked out.

We walked in on a Friday night and it wasn’t too busy. We walked up to the bar, there were two bartenders, bartender #1 and #2. (Update: bartender #2 is the general manager)

There were a handful of empty seats at the bar and a couple of tables with available seating.

As I walked up to the bar, I was standing in front of bartender #1 who just stared at me and didn’t greet me. After a couple seconds of an awkward stare, I greeted her first. And she still greeted me (barely) and doesn’t try to take my order or anything.

We sat at the bar waiting for the bartenders to have a gap so we can order. After waiting a while, we asked if there a specific person we should order with. Bartender #2 says they will be with us soon. No problem. But then someone walks in the bar, stands to our left and bartender #2 takes their order.

We were frustrated due to the service, lack of acknowledgement and the disrespect of taking someone’s orders when they knew we were waiting. Then we left.

It’s sad to write bad reviews but this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a bar. We just felt ignored and unwelcomed.

Update: thank you to the general manager for showing that they do not care about their customer service or patrons. Please go learn how to acknowledge patrons when creating your “art.”

Great drinks and atmosphere; the drinks are very expensive, but they are tasty and boozy. There were only two bartenders working and it was a Friday night so we often had to wait 5-10 minutes to be able to order a drink. Artwork was cool, vibes were immaculate 👌 there is no food on the menu but a couple restaurants next door that are open ~10pm

We had a great experience here in First Hill. This spot has a cool vibe with a creative cocktail list, a fabulous bartender (Fiona), and Seattle worthy music playing. There is also a collection of beautiful art on both walls.

A good espresso martini. Cool art. I’m told they rotate it too
