I never imagined that one of the most special days of my life would turn into a health nightmare. My fiancé proposed to me the night we had dinner at this restaurant — it was supposed to be our engagement celebration. But sadly, both of us got violently sick with vomiting after the meal. And diarrhea starts after 1, 2 days. His symptoms lasted two weeks, but mine never went away. After 3 months of ongoing health issues, I finally tested positive for Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC) — a serious infection likely contracted from contaminated food.
And after 7 months im still sick. And that sickness caused other problems in my body.
This restaurant has left me not only with heartbreaking memories of what should’ve been a joyful evening, but also with months of medical tests, treatments, and digestive problems I’m still trying to recover from. Please be extremely cautious — your health is not worth the risk.

This place is incredible! My husband and I Go to the space needle for drinks every time we’re in town.(We are from MT) But this time we tried the bites menu during happy hour! He got the smash burger and I did the Beechers crab mac and cheese. They both were delicious! Big thank you to Michael the bartender. He always does a fantastic job with the cocktails, and he’s a very personable bartender, and he never disappoints!

Gorgeous 360 degree views of Seattle are what you’re here for. The food has potential but many of the dishes arrived cold. The portion of Wagyu beef was minuscule. The calamari was quite good. A large part of the bill pays for three fancy cocktails that are included. If you’re not a drinker, it’s not a great value. They did provide complimentary champagne for my wife’s birthday. The dessert was meh. The $20 for valet parking was worthwhile. Honestly, I’d you’re a foodie, lower your expectations and enjoy the view.

From the start, upon entering the Space Needle we stood at the podium for about 25 minutes before someone came to talk to us. It was not the person that was scheduled to work the podium. We were informed that we had priority boarding on the elevator for our ride up to the lounge. That was not the case. We boarded with everyone else.
Once we arrived at 7 o’clock, for a 7:15 pm reservation, we were one of the first people to be seated. We had an amazing view, seated right in front of the glass. Our server took about 20 minutes before stopping by to take our initial drink order. Then an additional 20 minutes to receive our first drinks.
Now, I understand pacing the night. But this pace continued though out the evening. Our server would stop at our table roughly every 45 minutes.
By the time dinner came we were 2 hours into the evening. We ate about 2/3 of the main course as we were now ready to go. Again the main courses were outstanding!
However we waited for dessert to come, it was amazing, along with our Negroni’s. We ate dessert and got up and left. We were tired of waiting on our server. We watched multiple tables, that sat down up to an hour after us, depart.
As we walked out our server walked in surprised we were leaving. As other tables had received additional items at the end of their dinners, we did not. That’s ok we were done with waiting on our server.
In conclusion, the evening was amazing. The food, stellar! Views? Out of this world! Service? Horrible. We will find it difficult to recommend the Loupe Lounge or return in the future.

My wife and I visited Seattle for our honeymoon. To say that our experience at The Loupe Lounge in the Space Needle was amazing would be an understatement! The only way to describe it is a night of memories that will last a lifetime! We ordered the Elevated At Sea Towers which included two courses of eclectic and exotic gourmet seafood dishes that wowed us all evening, and a special dessert. The presentation of the food towers was excellent! The beautiful glass towers smoked, the drink menu was top notch and each beverage was expertly crafted and exciting to taste. Our server Frankie was great! He was friendly professional, humorous and he remembered our occasion and helped to make it special. He crafted a drink in front of us that included liquid nitrogen and really put on a show with his presentation. All of this was happening as we sat by the window on a glass floor while the entire restaurant rotated overlooking the Seattle skyline and puget sound shoreline from about 600 feet in the air. This was an experience that my wife and I will never forget. I highly highly recommend The Loupe Lounge to anyone who is celebrating a special occasion, or to someone who may just want to go check it out. Salute to the Emerald City until we meet again🫡‼️…💚☔️
