Best chicken and waffles.
THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER GOTTEN!!!
I was visiting family and was told that The Maple served Sunday brunch. I when I arrived the server told me that they just got slammed with a lot of people coming at the same time, yet I saw several empty tables. She asked me if I wanted to sit at a table. I told that I preferred a table. She said a table would be a 45 minute wait, so I opted for the bar on the implication that it would be faster. I ordered and sat with my orange juice, while the server staff came by and dropped and clanked their coffee pictures right next to me. It was so bad that I moved a few stools away to avoid any potential incidents. As I heard waited, I heard the servers complain about the chef and manager. All the while I was still waiting on my food. None of them approached me to give me an ETA on the food. This continued for 30, 40, and 50 minutes; still no food. After an hour the server gives me two eggs, which I didn’t order. She told me that they must have given my order to someone else. Either she was flat out lying or they were incredibly incompetent— I think both. I finally got up and left. AGAIN, THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER GOTTEN!!!
Love the menu. Very fine
Food and service were great. The steak was cooked perfectly and the fries were spectacular!! Loved the vibe.
Tables are too close to each other. Food is good and generous.
Burger mildly overcooked. Asked for medium well definitely was well done (I like well done meat so not a huge deal) waiter seemed kinda high? Overall decent experience probably would go back

Food (roasted brussel sprouts & tomato soup) was delicious and servers were really awesome!
Tried a cocktail and mocktail and didn't really like either, they were quite bitter. But maybe we just got unlucky trying something new!
Very cool and cozy vibe, server was very nice. It was very cold inside in November when we went, but that's to be expected with an old house. But definitely plan on wearing a jacket or something warm.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian appetizers, and the soup of the day was vegetarian.

Overpriced and mediocre in multiple respects - This bar was slammed when I was there a few nights ago yet the entire front of house, bar and all, seemed to be run by just two people. It was mildly disturbing watching these two women sprint around the place mixing drinks, seating guests, running checks, and serving tables, if they're doing well enough to fill the house surely they could have an extra pair of hands around?
The two cocktails with made-in-house spirits that I got were just not to my taste even though they sounded great on paper, and the food was unfortunately very bland, just nothing special whatsoever yet priced in the realm of high-end dining.
I'm not entirely sure what the circumstances are at The Maple that led to the poor dinner I had there recently, though my experience was corroborated by other reviews that talk about them being short staffed and having an underwhelming menu.
I would probably come back here for a drink at the bar as they had a fairly eclectic draft list, but I think I'll pass on dinner here going forward and am sceptical about brunch.

Went in for a beer and burger. Nice place overall. Service was great. Got a drink fast. The burger came out quick and it was tasty. Great fries as well. Because the food was so good I ended up drinking 5 drinks. I got a ride home. This place is worth going to. Do go not just for just a drink!

TLDR: only thing with decent flavor was the Frozè and truffle fries
Got the crab cakes, The Maple burger, ribs and some drinks. Crab cakes were alright but the burger and ribs were disappointing. The burger has Cambozola and bacon jam on it but most bites just tasted like char. I expected a fun mix of flavors with the cheese and some sweetness from the jam but the bacon jam was really bland. It also looked more like a tomato sauce than any bacon jam I’ve seen before. The ribs didn’t have much flavor either, the raspberry didn’t come through in the bbq and they didn’t come off the bone easily. My girlfriend said “I’ve had better ribs and Applebees”
Drinks were good and I loved the vibe of the old house. For $100 I wish the food had been enjoyable.
