First time in seattle, one of the best bars I've been to since I've been here, Sam was super friendly and funny and dave was the highlight of my night, close second to Sam. Nevermind, they're tied. Can't recommend the masonry and fast casual enough

Piss poor service. The server asked us to wait at the entrance and said he’ll clear a table for us (there were two empty tables with dirty dishes). He was inattentive and left us standing at the entrance for 15 minutes. I then went up to him to tell him we are ready to order to try to speed up the process for everyone involved, he shot back with a condescending, “well I’m not.” Very strange man. Didn’t feel comfortable with him handling our food and felt like we were never going to be served much less seated, so we left.

So…the pizza IS really good

BUT was pretty disappointed in the service and the atmosphere. There were lots of gnats flying around and we were having to swat them away from our food and drinks.

One of our drinks was brought out with a long black hair along the side of the cup which was just kind of gross. Then at one point, a gnat flew into my drink. I went to the bar to get a new one and after telling the bartender there was a bug in my drink, instead of pouring a new one, he grabbed a spoon and fished the bug out (in front of me) and tried to hand me the same drink back. I asked for a new one and while the bartender gave it to me, he was obviously not pleased about it. Just kind of disappointing

Best pizza in Seattle. And the meatballs and pickled veggies are a great addition. Friendly staff.

Excellent pizza - perfect doughy, chewy thin crust and great flavors on both the mushroom and the Diablo pies. Small seating area.

I had just dined there yesterday. My pizza was not good. I ordered the margarita pizza and It was salty, burnt on the bottom, and it had cold areas, i didn’t finish all the pizza, i had to through it away because it was so much salt. The service was respectful and kind but the pizza wasn’t good…

The Masonry is a good place if you're in the mood for some wood fired pizza and beer. They give you the option to dine in or take out. We dined in a little later than normal so seating wasn't an issue. There's a decent amount of seating but I could see it being an issue during busier hours. The service was good. We ordered some pickled vegetables and shishito peppers for appetizers. Both were very good.....but the pickled pepper was very hot! I like to think I can take some heat but it was too much. The shishito peppers were very good. Our main course was Ginny's Pizza which was very good. I think the smoked buffalo mozz gave it really good flavor. We enjoyed our time at this place and would return.
