The fajita flavor was awesome but the tortillas ruined it. They were stale. Gotta have exceptional tortillas for the dish ! I asked for corn tortillas to go with my fajitas and they were hard and tough so it ruined the dish. Asked for some flour to try and save it.

Leaving this review to say I’m thankful for the service I get at matador. Bri , specifically is the person I see and tell myself tonight the decision to eat at matador is worth it. Great service from everyone. But Bri takes the experience to another level. High knowledgeable of the menu and beverages. I’m thankful.

I would give this a five star rating if based only on the carnatas. Best ive ever had and i have ordered them at numerous places throughout the years. If only i had ordered it this time! My son got the carnatas and i got the carne asada with the rib eye. I was sorely disappointed and ate little. The meat was chewy and the corn frozen. My son gave me a piece of the very generous portion of his braised pork however so all was well. We took home so much food it likely fed him for days. The service was excellent and the drinks were good.
As a vegetarian, this place was great! And, It went above my expectations. Happy hour was golden! And, drinks were delicious. The atmosphere was enjoyable. Great setting! And, friendly staff.

This is a regular spot for my partner and I. We love the happy hour drinks and food, the tacos specifically they’re 10/10 for the price. Their service really pleasantly surprised me. We went in an hour before close one time and the waitress that took about 20 minutes to come to our table was so apologetic and gave us a free dessert for the inconvenience! It was the brownie with the ice cream-delicious. The music could be better, it ranges from rap to stuff like Taylor Swift which is a VERY weird choice of music for a Latin restaurant.

Upscale Mexican that's worth the investment. Portions are large and the tequila catalogue is mind-numbing. Staff are always incredibly friendly and the vibe is perfect for either a night out with friends or date night.
If you're visiting, bear in mind they do walk-ins only and can be incredibly busy at peak times and on weekends. My advice is to put your name in (in person) an hour or so ahead of your visit at such times.
