Although I just realized this place is closed due to the pandemic, I went a few months before it closed and I liked it. I didn't love it, because it was very, very expensive and also the cheese fondue we got was kind of too cheesy for my liking. The bread was also awkwardly chewy in some areas? I will say the chicken and beef cooked in the broth was super, super good. The chocolate fondue was also so yummy. Our waiter was also very nice to me and my group of friends.

Had a terrible experience there once where they wouldn't serve us because of the way we were dressed they didnt let us in I will never forget. There was literally nobody there we could see to the inside and we were dressed okay not extremely fancy but okay. They were very rude and we were left guessing if they were truly rude because of that or because of our ethnicity or both. Never again.

Amazing service. So polite and you get the fun experience of cooking your own food. Although it's pricey, its still worth it!

I love the classic alpine fondue and meat. I love the dark chocolate chambord fondue as well. My rating is because of the last few times we reserved or walked in and how little was done to accommodate us. Once, we were made to wait over and over for indefinite amounts of time. The other time, the restaurant looked fairly empty much earlier in the evening but we weren't given any option to sit at the bar even. We'll try the Bellevue location sometime may be. I do love fondue

My son and daughter in law took me to breakfast here. The food was amazing and cooked to order. My daughter in law is gluten free and has never had any problems with eating the food here.

This place is easy to find and I highly recommend. STAFF Staff is super friendly and helpful going over the menu. The place was packed but they manage to make you feel as though you're the only customer in the place.

Service was amazing and food was fresh. Just really humid on the 2nd floor.

Melting Pot said it was a 2 hour dinner---it turned into 4 hours because of poor service! :( My friends and I came here for a celebration dinner. Since we were a group of 9 people, we called weeks in advance to make a reservation. The resturant told us it would take our group about 2 hours to finish a 4 course experience dinner. Because of how large the group was to service, I assumed we would finish anywhere between 2.5-3 hours, which is reasonable. The entire dinner took 4 hours--yes FOUR HOURS aka double the time we were told. Why did it take 4 hours? Read on. Our waitress was friendly and got our drinks to us to fairly quickly. Our table was suppose to have 3 heating plates but only 2 was there. A waitor stopped by and said he would get the missing one for us. About 30-45 mins later, he returned, looked at our table confused, and asked why we were missing one. Completely unaware that he told us he was going to bring it before. Then, we waited for 1 hour with drinks waiting for someone to take our order so we can start the first course: cheese fondue. Yes, half of the alleged dinner legnth was just me sipping on a Watermelon Cooler--which was delicious and refreshing if you want a non-alcohplic beverage. Cheese fondue: Wisconsin is the way to go. The serving tray comes with 2 types of bread, vegetables, and green apple slices. We had some leftover cheese and the waitress was kind to bring us extra bread and veggies to finish it off. Let another round of the waiting game begin. Salad: I went with the Strawberry Almond salad and thought it was delicious. The strawberry dressing was the star of the salad. We were approaching the 2-2.5 hour mark at this time. Waiting game starts up--some had finished their drinks or glass of water at this point. Entree: By the time entrees arrived, we were at the 3 hour mark. My side of the table opted for tabletop grilling. Beware! It tends to produce a lot of smoke and will leave you clothes smelling like the items you grilled. Our waitress was kind to warn us beforehand so we knew what we were getting into. Half of table opted for the steak lovers entree. However, only 2 plates were brought to the table. This caused another 15 minute delay since the kitchen had to go back and make the 2 extra plates we originially ordered. Onto the food review, I like the steak lovers. It comes with a 3 variety from a sirolin to teriyaki beef to filet mignon. There was also 6 different sauces and a garlic & wine seasoning you can try out which helped elevate the flavors. Last round of playing the waiting game. Chocolate fondue: Our table got Yin and Yang, Flaming Turtle, and S'Mores. The last two got to be flambe, which was pretty cool. Theh provided is with a variety of thhings to dip like strawberries, brownies, marshmellows, and waffers. A good selection of items. Honestly, the chocolate fondue was only reason our group stuck it out to the end. My favorite was the S'Mores which was chocolate, marshmellow fluff, amd graham crackers crumbles. It paired well with all dipping items and was the right amount of sweetness to finish off a (4 hour) long dinner. To sum it up, I don't recommend coming here with a large group. If you do, consider extra time or only doing the cheese and chocolate course since those are worthwhile. It's the only reason why this review has an extra star. It seems like the staff doesn't pay attention to common resturant practices. Our waitress was fun, engaging, and apologetic when issues came up. So it didn't feel like it was solely her fault. But it felt like the overall service and management at the place was a mess. It was almost like they had never serviced a large group before. Even though they do large celebrations and events often. And had a section of the upstairs carved out for it. We had staff who would forget things, mess up orders, and left us waiting for over 45+ minutes before taking our order for the next course. It caused us to stay there significantly longer then we were told. For a restaura

I loveeeee fondue and wanted to come here for Valentine's Day. Thought it'd be fun time which it always is in my opinion. I've never been to this location. It was definitely old compared to some of their other locations but the ambiance was nice, cozy, and romantic. Our server was excellent and knew what he was talking about and had great recommendations. He also was accommodating to my shrimp allergy, so he substituted it with more filet mignon which I think is a pretty sweet hook up (there was a set menu). I love the melting pot but I still believe it's way overpriced, but it's a nice place to go to once in a while.

Truth B Told

If you like cheese at all, always get the double order of cheese or you'll be left wanting. Don't take children that touch hot stuff. It's always a good time with semi private booths. I recommend the 3 course meal for 2 if it's available. Also, tell them it's a special occasion when you make reservations and they offer rose pedal service and more. Fondue!!! Love it.

I have been to the Melting Pot many times and always enjoyed it, but this last visit was my favorite experience yet because of our server Sam. She was knowledgeable about the food, attentive, very bubbly & kind hearted, and made our date night enchanting and memorable! If you want fabulous service, ask for Sam!!

I had never really considered The Melting Pot as an option for me as I have been vegetarian for most of my life and vegan for most of my adult life. However, when they announced that they were offering a new vegan menu I was ecstatic to finally get to enjoy some of that ooey gooey goodness. When I heard that they were offering a roaring 20's NYE bash it solidified my need to check out this establishment and I booked my reservation asap. Fast forward a few weeks to the night of the event. I am all dolled up in my flapper best and ready to dance the night away. All of the advertisements I had seen for the event showed dancing, music, decorations, props, a photo booth, and more! I could not wait to live my 1920's extravagance dreams. If the 2/5 star review did not clue you in...this was not the magical night that I was hoping for. Let us start with the menu. Yes, they now have a vegan option at a cheaper price point. I wish I would have remembered to take into consideration the fact that I am also gluten free as half the vegan menu was no longer available to me. Okay okay, that is my fault. Not the fault of the establishment. This can still be a good meal, right? The appetizer was a plate of raw asparagus and apple followed by a bowl of fake cheese madness (which was honestly pretty darn tasty) and more raw vegetables. The cheese to veg ration was not my preferred and so many of my vegetables had to be eaten in their raw un-fondued ways. I also opted to have the love martini in celebration and it was honestly one of the tastiest cocktails I have ever had. Super tasty and the presentation was lovely. The beverage was a bit overpriced for such a small amount but for a celebratory drink it was just what I needed. Next up was the main course! Since I could not eat the bread, dumplings, tofu, or vegetable croquette I was left with...you guessed it, raw vegetables to dip int my broth. I wound up just tossing everything in and pretending that it was hotpot which was fine but not quite the experience I was hoping for. The final course was what I had been waiting for all evening...chocolate. Once again the portion sizes were tiny when it came to the actual fondue but they provided us with a decent variety of fruit for dipping. The banana and chocolate was my personal favorite combo. Overall, I would say my experience with the food was a 4/5 for flavor. I would give it a 1/5 for value and a 2/5 for service. It was just so damn expensive for so little food and was easily something I could have done myself at home for a fraction of the cost. The server was also super busy and kept forgetting to refill our water to the point that my poor partner refilled their glass in the restroom. Food aside, how was the atmosphere? Was it the roaring 20's party that had been marketed towards me? Not in the slightest. There were no decorations. There was no photo booth. There was no jazz. There was no dance floor. Most the guests were not dressed up. If it was not for the sliver of balloons decorating one of the walls I never would have had the smallest inkling that it was supposed to be a "party" of any type, much less the Gatsby celebration they had plastered on the flyers attached to their doors. It was false advertising and really ruined my evening. I would not return to The Melting Pot, sadly. It is overpriced and overhyped. It wound up costing us nearly $200 for two gluten free vegan meals and two cocktails. It was simply not worth that.

Literally ,, Everything was fine but ... the portions were pathetic. I'm not even going to waste my time writing more on this pathetic place. I'm disappointed

I love fondue and have a fondue craving time to time, but as good as the fondue the prices are over the top. Me and my date got the create your own entree and it was small portions and the broth wasn't bad. I just think the prices for everything is a bit much.
