Great views and cocktails! Rooftop bar is nice to sit with friends and get 360 panoramic views, though Rainer view is now blocked by new buildings. Atmosphere is buzzing with nice music. Tried the potato nachos which were a bit soggy, but the cocktails made up for it.
The Mountaineering Club in Seattle is an excellent rooftop bar that truly embraces its atmosphere. It offers a thoughtfully curated selection of drinks and a refreshingly unpretentious food menu that pairs perfectly with the stunning panoramic views. Whether you're taking in the city skyline or gazing at the distant mountains, the setting is unbeatable. The relaxed yet refined ambiance makes it a perfect spot for both casual outings and special occasions. With quality cocktails, satisfying bites, and breathtaking scenery, it’s a place that exceeds expectations while staying true to its essence. A must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy Seattle from above!
We had a great time here - good drinks and music. The service was prompt and courteous.
If someone is coming for the views I’ll recommend to reserve a daytime/evening slot. We came in the night and not much is visible. Food portion is a bit small for the price.
Love the ambiance, energy, and views.
This is a lovely spot to have a drink and some snacks with friends. The atmosphere is really good and it feels like you’re in someone’s living room, but with very good drinks. The views are stunning as well. The staff is attentive and helpful and made this an unforgettable evening. We had the oysters and the smores and it was very fun.
This place used to be be good pre-pandemic. Just went and the food and drinks are expensive and meh ($27 for lukewarm IKEA meatballs???; soggy potato chips do NOT make good nachos). I was surprised to see a DJ since the music was exactly the same for the entire 90 minutes we were there. Nice view but not worth it- too many other wonderful places to waste your time and money. Valet parking was $21!!! All the staff were great but clearly did not want to be there. I don’t blame them.
Ryan was friendly, attentive, and made our experience truly memorable. His great attitude and attention to detail really stood out. The space itself had a great atmosphere, which made the whole visit even better. Highly recommend!
What a fun experience and amazing 360degree views! We stopped for a few drinks and had a mountaineering club mezze all of which were delicious!
Great views. Great service
The drinks were really good, meatballs were fire; pretty sure they were from Costco though? Overall good place. I would have rated higher but they applied a mandatory 20% gratuity on a party of 3 - we were only on the table for about 40 mins... Kinda weird. Super not here for mandatory fees.

Great views and drink, but compulsory 20% cover charge could be a surprise for many. Afaik, they don't mention it on the menu. I personally think that's shady and everyone should be able to decide their tip amount.
Ryan, you are a legend
Stumbled across this little gem. Great spot for a drink and good views. A little cold when we were there but can see a late summer visit for sure!
The drinks are fine, but at $18 each with a 20% mandatory tip, it’s like $25 a drink with tax. After our drinks came, we never saw our server again and had to flag somebody down.
Ordered a drink but turned out it was way too strong for me (I’m a lightweight) but the alcohol itself was amazing but it’s just I couldn’t handle it. The server brought me a new drink and all on the house, sadly that I couldn’t get his name and tip him since he left too early, would definitely make another visit!!!
