Went for restaurant week and was thrilled! Good variety, delicious Turkish Mediterranean selection for all kinds of eaters. Sad to see they are closing at end of April. go now!
Really have enjoyed our meals at this restaurant, we are happy for the owners but sorry for ourselves to see they will be closing April 23rd for retirement. They will be missed.
Have been coming here for years. Very friendly and have dishes I've seen at no other. Mediterranean restaurant
I saw this place was closing and it reminded me that I won a gift card to the restaurant in a raffle fundraiser for WayOUT Seattle (hosted at Flying Bike Brewery a couple doors down in Dec 2022). My husband just tried to spend the gift card, was told it was fake, that their business would NEVER donate to Flying Bike (it wasn't to them, it was a fundraiser held there), and then called my husband an a--hole when he walked out without the food we had ordered after their outright rudeness.
Edit to address the straight up lie from the business owner, my husband absolutely did mention that the fundraiser was simply held at flying bike and even tried to show you a screenshot of the email I sent to him with the name of the non profit after he called me while in your establishment confused to why you wouldn’t accept the gift card and asked for some proof. You blew him off and wouldn’t even look. If this was a photo copy (on real card stock, didn’t look like a copy to me! It had a signature on it) that was what YOU gave the non profit employee when they came by asking for donations. We are your neighbors, we donated in good faith to a fundraiser held in our shared neighborhood and won a raffle with a gift card you donated. We aren’t some scammers like your treated us. Non profits aren’t in the business of faking raffle prizes, and we certainly didn’t fake it, you seem to have forgotten what your gift cards were like in 2022 and we are caught in the crosshairs.
Oh well, you’ll be closed soon anyhow.

Excellent wine flight and bubbly flight. Charcuterie was good but the noise level was very off putting

The Olive and Grape is one of the best restaurants in north Seattle. Paola and Chris are wonderful hosts; kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive but not intrusive. The food here is delicious and authentic; Turkish and Italian ("olive and grape") with a strong Mediterranean influence. Many of the recipes are from Paola's mama and finely executed by Chris and Paola. The Olive and Grape is at the top of my list for special occasions and a treat. If you're looking for delicious food and great service, go to The Olive and Grape now; Paola and Chris are retiring soon.
This restaurant was a lovely surprise! I recommend it if you want good value for money on all fronts.
Because we were late from traffic, the restaurant took our order and it was ready when we got there. The lamb dinner was great.
This is a good neighborhood place to eat before going to Taproot Theatre as it has good food and is close to the theatre.
Discovered this cute little Mediterranean place in Seattle's Greenwood neighborhood for our anniversary dinner-date tonight! Our food was amazing, and the service and quaint artistic ambiance were simply delightful. I had their O&G Musakka with chicken and hubby had the Iskender Döner (a gyro platter). We finished off our meal with a cup of Turkish coffee for the hubbs (his favorite!) and a shared piece of Mama's baklava...”Opa!” Such a perfect night!?????????

Fabulous appetizer with hummus, tzatziki, and a red pepper dip. Very accommodating waiter offered cucumber slices for gluten free diner, while friend enjoyed their fabulous pita bread. Loved the arugula starter salad. The Manti were delicious, tiny pasta pockets with ground beef inside in a light sauce. So, so, so delicious. As well as the O & G Musaka, with it's eggplant, zucchini, and potatoes in a chef speciality Turkish sauce. The ambiance with old brick walls and stone floor remind one of a European bistro. Easy parking behind restaurant too.
Great spot for an evening dinner. I tried the Muhammara and Hummus dips, both were spot-on with the warm pita bread. The server was attentive to gluten-free needs and offered cucumbers as a substitute. I had the Manti vegetarian dish with Turkish dumplings in a slightly sour tomato and olive oil sauce. While I wasn’t sure about the filling, the dish was unique and tasted good.

Food was amazing, portions smaller than expected for the price but honestly some of the best Greek food I’ve had so small portions is okay. Would order again if I want some yummy food, not if I’m super hungry

every item on the O & G menu has unique, subtle spices and pizzazz. we love anything with Paola's secret sauce, especially the Musakka. highly recommend anything off the grill, in particular the sockeye salmon we had last night. Salad options are Greek and lightly dressed; our favorite is always the arugula with parmesan. The mezze and small plates are delicious, as well, including the amazing house made hummus and baba ganoush and pita! We dine here often.
