The Outer Rim is a fun and relaxed place. The coffee is excellent, but the pastry I tried was a bit dry. Overall, a good experience.

This is a very unique coffee shop! If you love Star Wars and Star Trek, you will find yourself in galactic heaven. And coffee is not secondary, they go to great lengths to create the perfect coffee beverage. You should beam yourself over there right away.

Coffee, nerds, and coffee nerds: a great combination, in my opinion. Love the layout, the coffee, and the service. Will definitely be back soon, best coffee in the outer rim of this galactic system!
Edit: man I wanted to like this place but it's kind of an intergalactic disaster. Today was the last straw: got charged for three lattes when picking up drip coffee this morning (and drip coffee is what I received so I'm pretty sure they knew what they were doing) and I didn't realize until I got the emailed receipt later. Seems sloppy at best and shady at worst. When there is only one person working there, they seem so stressed it makes ME anxious, and the food options are meh. Also, as a nerd, the trivia questions never change on the front sign, so like, what's the point? Just have a sign for coffee at that point.
Love their coffee and sci fi vibe. Coffee is Herkimer. Staff is friendly and professional.

I don't drink coffee, but my partner does and the atmosphere here was amazing. The Barista was also very friendly and took my partners allergies very seriously. Would recommend to any sci fi needy coffee drinkers.

Such a relaxed atmosphere for a coffee shop, love the minimalism and decor- but the coffee is some of the best I've had on my travels.
Small batch, locally roasted- prepared with the same attitude a true sci-fi fan would have about their favorite series- leading to a perfect cup of coffee and one of my favorite cafes to enjoy it in. The only thing as good as the coffee is the kind and welcoming attitude of the owner! :)
