This bar is a real gem. The salmon flatbread was great, the staff were super-friendly and attentive, and the cocktails were excellent. All in a cozy atmosphere with good live music - definitely a place to check out if you're downtown!

The bar manager is amazing , one of the few I know that makes drinks of taste , depth , true flavor , if you want something unique she can do it , it's not simply a mixed drink or cocktail , Adrian uses every tool , trick and forgotten knowledge there is , I commented to her she made me think of when absinthe is served with an apparatus and a slow drip over a sugar cube like in the 1800s , that's her level of expertise . Some thing truly majestic

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to enjoy any food or drinks as they had a “reservation” at 7:30 pm (it was 5:30) and couldn’t seat us. I guess I’m just wondering why they wouldn’t put up a sign saying closed for private party?

I stumbled in here after work one day and am so glad to have come across this hidden gem! Wonderful place to find and truly has a unique intimate vibe you can’t find anywhere in Seattle. Portions are generous and food is tasty as well.Service is great and you can see the passion and pride the owner takes in his restaurant.

The chef/owner was a display of bad manners. He treated us as if he was doing us a favor. One of my friends asked for a specific type of liquor and this guy with the most arrogant attitude answered: “See for yourself what’s in the shelf”. The music was terrible as well. A singer with a bassist, very contemporaneous but very low quality material. A very unpleasant experience!

My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The flatbread was overpriced and loaded with an excessive amount of cheese, reminiscent of what you'd find at a low-quality pizza joint. The homemade shrub drink was undrinkable; it was overwhelmingly vinegary, causing both my partner and I to cough after our first sips. We felt lightheaded for several minutes afterward. Despite returning the drink after hardly being touched, we were still charged for it.
Additionally, the menu items we initially wanted were unavailable, forcing us to choose alternatives. While the waitress was extremely nice, the overall atmosphere was confusing. We came for the live jazz music, but were instead distracted by four big-screen TVs playing different content, including infomercials and Family Guy.
What was meant to be a relaxing date night turned into a rather disappointing experience.
Update: I came here again and was once again impressed by the high quality service and great meal! I can't recommend this place enough!
What an excellent experience! There is no question why this place has such a high rating. They really nailed it in every aspect. The dining and bar area is beautiful albeit small, with an interesting style and decor, balancing comfort and class. There’s a good selection of whiskeys and other drinks to kick off your meal and the bartender is extremely knowledgeable. He answered questions about whiskey that a professional sommelier couldn’t and was nice enough to pour a few small samples to better explain. The charcuterie was great as well as the deviled eggs with pork belly. Steaks were cooked perfectly and the chef came out to make sure everything was right and chat for a bit. It was evident that the entire staff loved their jobs and excelled at delivering to the highest standards. This was the best restaurant experience in recent memory. I will plan to come here every time I’m in town and I’m excited to show this place to more friends.
